So they announced it today that the WNBA player Brittany Griner was released from a Russian prison and turned over to the US in exchange for a Russian arms dealer Victor Bout.

I seriously doubt the world is a safer place by this trade.

I mean sure, Griner gets to go home to her wife - but how many more people will die because the so-called 'Merchant of Death' is on the loose again.

And I hope Britney Griner finally appreciates America, since America is the reason she's no longer in a Russian prison.

But why do I seriously doubt that's going to happen?

More arms for russia = more arms and spending to ukraine.

I think the biden regime knows exactly what they're doing.

As I said on the other thread, he was safer in prison. I give him two or three weeks tops.

I have been saying this for decades, there are no sides, politics, governments are soap operas that the population consumes, it is not real,

It becomes real when you take your physical body and play along, you might die as a soldier, for what?

Do not participate, do not obey.

Of course they did. They used their heads. Biden doesn't have a brain and his handlers have an agenda.

Because you don't have a high opinion of gender-bending people with dark skin?

The experts who follow these things, say the U.S. ALWAYS gets the short end of the stick...gives more than it gets, with these prisoner swaps.

Of course Russia got the better part of the deal. Why wouldn't they with a weak U.S. Global position ☠️

I disagree. Britney will probably respect freedom and America mush more after this ordeal. It would take a very special not to. Statistically, Britney is t that person.

Pretty sure?

Hopefully there are some significant under-the-table concessions that Russia caved on. Otherwise this will be one of the most lopsided and idiotic deals in US history.

Have people read articles about this guy from more then a decade ago, and why the Nicholas cage movie was made. This guy sounds really bad. I don't know if instantly he goes back to selling weapons like others have stated. But I do know why Russia would want him back. For the intel that he probably has. I just read some articles back from 2007 and it was mor then hinted at that the US bought weapons from this guy. This guy had a network. this was a real deal operator. Its really curious that we did this swap.

Ahhh so that is your take? An notorious arms dealer for a nobody. Not like there wasn't a better trade for such a high profile prisoner! Forget that Marine, we needed the dark-skinned gender bending person more.

Forgetting that Marine seems like its already done. Yes get the civilian out first, makes sense…But this trade I fear was more than satisfying the narrative..a coincidental narrative at best..Ill get back with You after Ive chewed on it some more..

I mean they U.S. caught the arms dealer right? So they know his MO right? I will give the U.S. government military leaders some credit in knowing what they are doing.

So reading history isnt your strong suite apparently.

On topic, its breaking that the govt had a choice.

Either, or and none.

They made their choice.

I'm only opining on this one thing, the prisoner swap. I mean they caught him once and will probably do it again.

And from what I have learned, they really had no choice in the matter.

So by your logic, they purposely allowed the trade so they can go get him again? Thats what youre going with?

What if he never leaves russia? How come we dont go pick up Snowden and Assange?

Keep learning, its currently being exposed that they had a choice per their own words.
