There's Something In Sugar That Doesn't Look Like Sugar

White refined sugar often comes with added chemicals under the name Anti Caking agent.
If you have food that is not using Anti Caking agent then the sugar will likely clump together, but why would you want sugar without it, well a look at some anti caking agent's is very enlightening so to why some people would not want it especially with some of these compounds being suspected of being harmful.

These are not small like different grains. They are a substance that's white that I have found that's with sugar. They come in flakes, bits and pieces. The first pic though bad it is. That giant rectangle is the biggest said piece I have found. It matches more with flower then it does the crystals of sugar. I used my phone cam and a small handheld microscope to zoom in. The white triangle is of the edge of said piece and that yellowish crystal on the top of it is sugar. The light from microscope didn't go well with the crap camera of my phone. That wasn't an easy shot to make lol.


I'm going to collect a large number of samples and do better than this hastily made thread that I made without thinking. I am sorry for the wasted server space that this has caused. There will be a part two and it will be better. The sugar I find this from is from Domino. We bought store brand sugar last time and still using it. It seems that this store brand doesn't have the flakes that have me worried though the reply from Antisocialist makes a lot of sense of what it could be.
