They are all lying to us, as they stuff their pockets with kickbacks and back door dealings. There is always someone in someone else's pocket, you can see it in just town politics - nobody gets a job working for the town, unless they know someone, I've seen it for years. Some young woman from another country managed to get a great job in town, making great money with full benefits, all because she knows someone. What about we Americans?
And that's just in our little town.

I agree with 'namehere' who said,
"all this is why trump got voted in, people wanted a revolution and an outsider who wasn't a politician"
And I believe Trump tried very hard, he even tried to Build That Wall, but the dems tied his hands.
Here's hoping he will be back in 2024 to finish the job!

Crucified and bleeding, the son of man will die for us.
Stretched screaming across mankinds ignorance and flayed with whips of blasphemy.

“All propaganda must be so popular and on such an intellectual level, that even the most stupid of those towards whom it is directed will understand it. Therefore, the intellectual level of the propaganda must be lower the larger the number of people who are to be influenced by it.”

“To whom should propaganda be addressed? To the scientifically trained intelligentsia or the less educated masses? It must be addressed always and exclusively to the masses.”
Adolf Hitler

In his younger days, Hitler certainly had powers of perception.
Too bad he didn't use it for the good of our world.

oh now dont go misunderstanding what i meant, i meant the people saw trump as an outsider to politics but because they dont understand the source of their discontent they didn't and still dont get that politicians are just puppets to the elites, that trump is one of those elites and contributed greatly to the destruction of the middle class and expansion of poverty since the 80's through manipulation of real estate, banks and stocks, one of the ones that shipped our industries overseas to china, japan, taiwan, mylasia, mexico, south korea, and various other places, draining us of expertise and losing our dominant position in many areas.

trump is loyal to money and power, not the people.

Short term limits for Congress would end a lot of this. Stop career politicians from being a thing. The longer they are in office the more corrupt they seem to be.

The problem is Congress isn’t going to vote for term limits on themselves.

Besides term limits; maybe it is also time to expand the number of senators and represrutives.

The current number of congressmen was chosen in a bygon time where transportation was harder, population density was lower and the population of a state was more homogeneous.

Currently too much power is concentration in too few people.

Number of congressmen in 1917 was 435; number of senators was 100 and the population was 103,268,000

Number of congressmen in 2022 is 435; number of senators was 100 and the population was 332,403,650

Our access to our congressmen is 1/3 of what it was 100 years ago. And we wonder why they have become more corrupt and we are less satisfied.

And this is where you lose them. They've put so much time and energy into defending the man that they refuse to look at his role in the bigger picture.

He's center stage of the production.
