That thing about the FBI and Jan. 6th ...

It turns out that the FBI did have agents embedded.

The F.B.I. had as many as eight informants inside the far-right Proud Boys in the months surrounding the storming of the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, recent court papers indicate, raising questions about how much federal investigators were able to learn from them about the violent mob attack both before and after it took place.

This has long been something plenty of conservatives have suspected, and this has also been something we've been called conspiracy theorists for suggesting. It has been convenient politically for the Democrats and progressives, but I repeat myself, to believe that there was no government involvement at all in the events of the day for any reason, especially not after the entrapment scheme run by the FBI in the Whitmer kidnap plot.

But court filings show that the FBI did have agents embedded in the Proud Boys before and after the day in question leading to some questions.

In the papers, some of which were heavily redacted, the lawyers claimed that some of the information the confidential sources had provided to the government was favorable to their efforts to defend their clients against sedition charges and was improperly withheld by prosecutors until several days ago.

So why would lawyers claim the papers are favorable? Unless it's true that the mob went out of control spontaneously or that the FBI had a role in agitating and creating the situation ... but they would never, ever do that, amirite? It's not like they tried to get random Joe's to kidnap a governor or anything.

One possibility is that the Proud Boys weren’t planning an insurrection and that conservatives who have called it a spontaneous event have been right all along. That would nuke all the deranged attempts to suggest that Republicans, including Donald Trump, somehow orchestrated the entry into the Capitol Building. The other possibility is that the FBI knew a riot was going to take place and did nothing to stop it, instead letting it play out for political reasons. Wouldn’t that be something? Yet, I wouldn’t even begin to put it past them.

So what was it? Was Jan. 6th lightning in a bottle and not a planned insurrection like they've made it into for political convenience or was it a planned riot that the FBI did not a thing about for matters of political convenience? Either way, the FBI comes out looking like a purely political creature sitting in the lap of the swamp.

Bad people do bad things, yeah we get it.

That's my FBI.

This was the only legitimate insurrection that I remember:

Early this morning, a phalanx of Seattle police officers, armed with long batons and semiautomatic rifles, cleared out the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ), also known as the Capitol Hill Occupation Protest (CHOP). Unless Antifa militants stage an unexpected counterattack, this marks the end of the 24-day occupation of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Seattle can now begin to reckon with the damage.

Makes you wonder if this is one of the reasons why they've sat on some of these trials for so long. The discovery process in court was inevitably going to discover all this and they needed to keep the narrative going long enough get past the midterms.

That Jan. 6th Theatre is a lot less effective if you bring some of these so-called insurrectionists to trial and the court papers have shown that the story being sold to the public is a lie.

So now they look more and more like political prisoners whose rights have been violated in order to keep the political story running.

I think RINOs are subverting the Constitution and the spirit of Justice in America as well. Probably helping their buddies on the left cheat too, and vice-versa.
