I denounce antisemitism...

I've never understood why antisemitism is portrayed as so much worse than any other form of racism. It seems the media-and the world- view them as somehow being exalted above the rest of humanity.

Being a red-headed woman of Irish descent I've probably heard- and laughed at- most every joke directed toward the Irish. I feel no need to get all defensive and have a meltdown over the DNA strands I have no control over.

"Where attention goes, energy flows'. I'd like to believe someday the world will quit feeding the racism monster, but it's become one of the most useful tools in the political playbook to manipulate humanity and will not change until/when/if people wake up.

People like you and Kanye I don't think are antisemitic, but you're being pulled in by the actual antisemitic people. This is what those groups want. Go to a place like 4chan boand see the celebration of getting regular people to "name the jew" for them. Or even better, someone like Kanye west to do.

Here's the thing, I'm going to use Andrew Tate as an example. He was finally banned from social media because of his violations of their terms and conditions, and then all of a sudden everyone comes to his side yelling about how "they" and "them" canceled him because he was speaking truths or whatever, and then you have people defending him saying banning him just radicalized his base.
That's his whole gig! He radicalized his base, he instilled the rhetoric that rich and powerful people are dividing the common man and that he isn't like them, etc etc. So when the time came to when he pushed his messages too far, he looks like the victim.
That's what Kanye attempted to do, he pushed the boundaries for many years and instead of going down the route that Tate did, he obviously got caught in the rabbit hole agaisnt Jewish people because the industry he was in has a high representation of Jewish people. But he wasn't just on thin ice in that market, it was in almost everything he was involved with fashion for example.

Dave Chappell isn't doing any of that, no one is coming for him, his job is to bring up awkward stereotypes and such that we all know are deep down true and say them. But he did a one of skit and moved on, he's not going to make an entire tour off pointing out how people wirh Jewish ancestry are successful in media and Hollywood just to simply make people know for sure, for what ever reason.

Does it matter who? Do different standards apply to different demographics

Do the demographics matter in this case? Why should we be shaming success?

I'm scottish and, as a kid, my fave cultural joke was "how do you make copper wire?"... answer..."Throw a penny between two scotsmen" The joke stands without offense as long as it has the scots as it's subject but if it were attached to another culture known for actual prowess with money (not just cheapness) it could be labelled anti semitic, which has been assigned to cover the whole sliding scale from mild joke to outright, well... what the nazis did.

As you say, racism is one of the useful tools in the political playbook but I don't even think the average person is very racist but our words and thoughts can be easily controlled through shame/shunning by implying one is racist. Trudeau did this when he said the unvaccinated were likely "extremists, racists, misogynists"

As I mentioned in another thread, my brother cautioned me that my words were bordering on anti semitic when I expressed that the covid was being used to divide and manipulate us into vaccines, as it was following a similar path as how persecution of the jews by the nazis played out. Jewish spokespeople have since stated the same exact thing yet my brother had been brainwashed into not allowing me to speak out, lest it be anti semitic.

We are in very dangerous territory if we think those in power hit their pinnacle of evil and won't ever do it again. If we lose the ability to speak out we are sunk. It has nothing to do with our regular jewish friends and neighbours and everything to do with mind control.
