I was actuually meaning the times after the 1979 Iranian revolution, where i grow up watching TV news about the Iranians then.

They seem largely like an anti-American intervention group. They specifically mentioned Washington as being the problem. Sure it's likely state funded and scripted as nothingin in Russia is organic and without state approval.

But that doesn't necessarily make them incorrect.

American intervention in sovereign nations affairs is a huge issue. Just ask the millions currently starving from American sanctions against countries like Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, Libya, Somali, etc, etc, etc.

Can it really be called an intervention by America? giving arms and intelligence to a nation that specifically asked for it in my opinion that shouldnt be classed as an intervention, especially compared to how America has actually intervened in the past, in places like the 2 Gulf Wars etc.

Sanctions are hardly an intervention either, if a country or a group of countries decide to cut and disallow trade to another for any reason then thats within their rights to do so.

In alot of those countries you mentioned the governments and millitaries appear to be not suffering, that to me shows the direction of what funds those governments are using... if a country facing sanctions has starving people yet the military and governments are doing just fine (Assad still lives in his palaces etc), then it isnt the sanctions that are the problem its the governments and military that are, they clearly dont care to redirect funds towards the people if they need it (and alot of them dont because in their own countries they have tribes and regions their in conflict with that they wish to wipe out anyway).

The West and America have done some unjustifiable # in the past long and 'recent' there is no denying that, but this time they've done it the proper way... will they learn from it? Heres hoping.
