Another interesting factoid from this election cycle is that the GOP lost every Secretary of State election in swing states when they put forward an election denier as their candidate.

Hopefully the GOP learns they need to put forward candidates with actual policies and not ones that are just spouting Trumpian conspiracies.

In the TOP PRIORITY quest of controlling the U.S. House, Republicans just FLIPPED another seat from BLUE to RED...this time in OREGON.

The Arizona Governor's race is being called for Hobbs. Lake needed at least 60% of the latest batch of votes from Maricopa but only ended up getting 56%.

Trump-backed Republican Kevin Kiley defeated Democratic challenger Kermit Jones to win California's 3rd Congressional seat, raising the GOP's House majority to 220 seats.

The number of early votes in the Georgia run-off are projected to top 250,000 by the end of the day. That makes this the highest early voter turnout in Georgia history. Even higher than the 2020 general election. I don't know what the breakdown looks like now, but at one point over the weekend Blue districts were outpacing Red districts 10-1. Walker is done.

The other major story today is that Arizona's counties were required by law to certify their election results. Despite a number of counties that said they were going to refuse to do so, every county has certified at this point except for Cochise. The funny thing is, if Cochise's votes don't get counted then the Dems will pick up another seat in the House.

Yea....his record is rather.........thin.

It's still early but based on the votes that have been counted so far, Warnock is overperforming across the board while Walker is underperforming. Not surprising since the were multiple days of early voting that broke records and there was also a record number of absentee ballots.
