Am wondering what the general sentiment is here towards the seasonal flu vax.

I've never had much problem with it. I pretty much believe the ones in the past have been generally helpful.

This year? I don't know. Every time I think of it (or any other poke for that matter) I'm stopped in my tracks thinking, "What if they added that mRNA crap to it without telling us?"

Does anyone here know? Or, am I just being paranoid?

I never took them but my mind goes right to your question as well.

How would we know? We will never know what is in anything really.

I have not had a flu vax since the mid 1990's.

I generally get the flu every year.

I feel fatigued, sleep 15 or 20 hours, a bit tired the next day and done.

I am not messing with that.

I haven't had the flu in decades. I did catch it once or twice and it was pretty horrible.

Not sure I want to take a chance here at my age.

Not sure I want to risk their test vaccine getting stealthed into me either.

The only times I got the flu really bad in the past 30 years is the couple of times I took the vax. Usually get the sniffles and body aches for a day or so but those times it was really bad.

Not taking it again this year and not planning on it ever.

Sounds more like Colds?

Whenever I've had flu it's knocked me for six for a week or two.

Personally I don't bother with it, I don't think I need it.

I have nothing against it per say, do your due diligence and if you want it, get it.

Are they putting "other" stuff in it? Probably.

As far as I can recall I've only has genuine flu three times.
The first time kicked the crap out of me for a week, I felt truly dreadful.
That was a long time ago.

Fast forward to when I got to my fifties and the second time was after the first time I had the flu vax, I was bedridden for two full days.

I got the vax the next couple of years and felt fine.
The I forgot one year and caught flu; worse than ever before.

I've had it every year since and no side effects and no flu - touch wood.

I think the older one gets the more sense it makes, especially if one has other health issues.

I've had flu about three times and I find if you are wondering if you've got a cold or flu then it's a cold.

If it's flu there's no doubt about it.

Had a jab last year and one last week, so far, so good.

Here's how it's done, apparently.

Seems like a more traditional vaccine?

I wash my hands thoroughly, often. I dress appropriately. I get lots of fresh clean air with my daily roadwork in the morning. I supplement daily with vitamin C, D, zinc and magnesium.

I don't take orders from the smartphone, TV or media.

I am very healthy and intend to remain that way up until the moment eternity snatches me from this realm.

Basically this. The body's immune system is more than capable to deal with these types of illnesses. Let's just say I put my hands in nature on this one, no need for some made up magic potion to inject when i will likely still get sick anyways.

I've never heard of it being called a flu vaccine. I was told since the flu strain mutates, the flu shot was only for the specific strain and a new shot would be needed to combat the next strain; that's why it wasn't classified as a vaccine.

I have also not taken the shot in the past 11 years, and the only time I had "flu like symptoms" was when I believed I got covid. I never verified, but it follows the same pattern of natural immunity that resulted from my flu shot abstinence, and I haven't been sick. Previously, I became sick every time I had to get the flu shot while in the service, so if it walks like a duck...

I grew up being told if I got a cut to "rub some dirt in it, it'll make you stronger." Maybe the idea was taken too literal at the beginning, but eventually I understood " what doesn't kill you makes you stronger."

I have always heard about the polio vaccine, but I've specifically recall "flu shot" in all my exposure.

"What if they added that mRNA crap to it without telling us?"

That is the real question isn't it and in the past people wouldn't have questioned the Flu vax .

But now everything has changed The Pharmaceutical companies and the Medical system in general have shown there true Colors.

During My years in the Military I had dozens of Flu Shots and Dozens of other random " Vaccinations " of God knows what .

I'm 33 and have been maybe sick once in my life. Never had a flu shot. I vaguely remember throwing up as a kid one day and that was it.

The Amish dont take any vaccines and they dont have any autism or SIDS or SADS or shaking baby syndrome and they live to be 85

think we need all new investigations into all the vaccines
