So I just caught a 7 day ban on twitter because I commented on a thread about abortion. Everyone in that discussion was talking about "medical freedom" and that if they don't want to carry the "parasite" they shouldn't have to. it was a literal thread on elective abortion aka abortion for convenience. Not one person mentioned anything about saving a life or complications it was all just convenience.

I chime in and say "The more you abort, the less of your kind there will be and I'm ok with that."

Snowflakes reported my tweet and now I have a 7 day ban. Reason they reported me? Promoting self harm. LOL!

According to pro abortion twitter users if you talk about aborting babies out of convenience its perfectly fine but the moment you agree with them and point out it just produces less of them, they consider that promoting "Self harm"

So in other words they are aware of what they are doing they just want you to sugar coat it and make it sound cool and trendy or they report you.

clown world.

Glad you realised twitter is clown world, In my honest opinion it always has been and always will be.

Don’t worry about an Elon ban just don’t use the platform again

Oh I've known it. I just go there to troll. I just think its hilarious that people in this world are so psychotic that they will do something horrible but as long as you don't shed light on how horrible it is and just make it sound like puppies, bunnies and rainbows then its fine.

And this isn't just a twitter thing, this is the entire country and even the world. Full of hypocrisy and delusion. I see it here, i see it on FB (which i only log in once a year to thank family for the bday wishes) and I see it everywhere even in real life.

I'm guessing that they read your comment in a much different way than you intended it.

One of my biggest problems with the (often) most vocal pro-abortion folks is that if abortion is not legal, then women will seek out illegal and unsafe abortions, thus putting themselves in harm's way. Hence, "self harm."

I doubt they even understood that you were speaking to the harm to the fact that aborting their pregnancies meant there would be less people thinking like them.

I doubt any of these women have actually been pregnant and suffered life-threatening complications. And they never want or intend to have a baby. So they don't give a crap about these women because they were fool enough to get pregnant in the first place.

But it's still pretzel logic!

Fifty years after Roe vs. Wade, and still abortion is being debated -
In this overpopulated, troubled world surely that is the least of our problems, and the one thing that the democrats are seizing on before the elections.
@Boadicia is right - women will choose what they are going to do with their own bodies, regardless of any religious or government regulations. Why shouldn't we have the right to safe and legal abortions? I'm sure men would be demanding it, if it were their body.
And I am not a democrat.

Twitter is cancer. No idea why Musk would buy it and not shut it down unless it was to identify and contain under-informed wackos.

I believe he is controlled opposition. I mean he wants to put chips in our brains and once stated "If you can't beat it, join it" in terms of AI. I do not trust him.

Any sane person is fine with abortion as long as it's not aborting out of convenience. There is always exceptions. But this isn't an abortion debate thread. I'm just pointing out how pro abortion twitter users consider abortion self harm.

I often say that one of the symptoms of the mental disease of progressivism is a complete absence of self-awareness. They really are mentally sick.

You mean less minorities right? Because the abortion rates for minorities are more than 3x that for white women.
Rates
White: 6.6
Black: 23.8
Hispanic: 11.7
Other: 13.0

They aren't self aware enough to troll. They can't even come up with a counter argument so they just report.

Good point -- this is just as true.

It seems there are self-destructive attitudes and opinions on all sides of the abortion debate. But there seem to be self-destructive attitudes and opinions on all sides of everything these days. And often self-defeating at the same time.

Wow. You found a way to play the race card. Just wow.

But abortions will result in less of ALL types of people. Whatever label you want to slap them with... whatever box you want to put them into... there will be less of ALL those labels and boxes. Each and every one.

The least self-destructive philosophy I have encountered is minding your own business. But that attitude is antithetical to internet culture.

I'm tired of hearing this. We aren't overpopulated, there's enough resources and land for all of us. It's simply that people want it all for themselves and the materialistic nature of the Western world which leads to rampant consumerism. We don't need less people, simply more informed and efficient ones.

The weight of all the termites or ant populations on Earth is far more than the human populations total weight. We simply aren't as efficient and generate more waste per kg.

I'm not on twitter so I have no axe to grind or irons in the fire but consider, if you go there admittedly just to troll, you have had it coming anyways.
