The thread is in this forum so the title could be worded the way it was worded. The purpose of this thread is not education but ridiculing and showing off, just that it backfired miserably.

Much worse than RB30DET with bad ignition timing would.

You posted the source (space.com) which had links to sources (ADN) which THEY (space.com) cited and highlighted in THEIR article.

I have produced zero sources, only citations gleaned from your sources.

Citations are not sources.

Like this one ("numerous conspiracy theories" in the article from your source):

Well done Phage. I like this discussion a lot too. Thanks for sharing. I do think we can focus the signal but after that I am not qualified to answer much more. The distance to Jupiter and inverse square observation does have merit but I am sure they worked out power of the signal. I halfway thought someone was about to say it was shrinking the Red spot...

This is not like you to be wrong from a Webster's perspective. The Phage I have debated is too smart to make that type of mistake and double down on it. Yes for those paying attention to that over time know I have butted heads with you, but I do respect you.

When we discussed such things in my studies, I recall the word "excited" being in the mix. Excited molecules are the ones we discussed in Physical Chemistry. We studied several groupings of molecules and excited them with certain wavelengths and recorded the wavelength of the response to the excitation.

A bit late to this one, so I missed the earlier conversations, but in short:

- Even with all the power available to HAARP, it will be very challenging to get signal back from Jupiter. The amount of attenuation will be prohibitive in all but the most favourable conditions.

- No, Jupiter won't be turned into a death star.

- I'm here because I love a good conspiracy, but HAARP can't cause earthquakes, or flooding

- Direction can be controlled through beam steering, essentially playing with phases.

- Focus can be achieved, but is limited and not to the point where anything will nefarious will happen.
