Try using "the" with other adjectives:
The beautiful of the night. (The beauty of the night)
The intelligent of a fly. (The intelligence (n) of a fly)
The frequent of an event.
Can you see why it doesn't work?

So, is it microwaves (or light, or whatever) which is being amplified by stimulated emission of radiation?

I will respond when you do a little work and read up on Townes, masers and lasers. After you read up on it, you will, if you are honest, admit that masers are not limited to the microwave band of EM frequencies.

Yes, out of the range.

Your source provides a broken link for that quote. Fortunately, I know that source (it was a research project involving much speculation) and it makes no mention of HAARP in terms of weather control. You know that "weather modification" is generally known as cloud seeding, right?

This report contains fictional representations of future situations/scenarios. Any similarities to real people or events, other than those specifically cited, are unintentional and are for purposes of illustration only. This publication has been reviewed by security and policy review authorities, is unclassified, and is cleared for public release.

Steps:

1. Create OP.
2. Posters attempt to engage in OP.
2. Make fun of or ignore those posters actually engaging the OP that is in the "Conspiracies" forum.
3. Feel superior.
4. Go to step 2 until next time.

Thanks I'll just read the article.

LMAO

Good plan.

Yes, the claims about the nefarious capabilities of HARRP which have appeared here and elsewhere are stupid.

I don't think ANYONE made any claims, maybe offered a few quotes that were on-topic. LOL.

But other than that, did I define it correctly? Can you fill a bucket with "frequencies?" A frequency is not a person, place, or thing.

i forgot this in my last post, but i can tell you that you can show frequency or frequencies. on oscilloscope, millimeters, and in real time with radio, televisions. and after recording them on charts.

and in this reply you are correct, in that frequency can be used as a descriptive noun but it is not the adjective,as i said in my last, frequency is a descriptive noun for signal because nouns, are a person, place, or thing, and frequency or frequencies are things that can be shown.

I don't think ANYONE made any claims,

Maybe since you've been here.

In that case, let's modify that to insinuations.

Ok, I get it, like your OP did.

So, placing the OP in the conspiracy forum doesn't insinuate anything that you can discern?

For everyone else:

Modern masers can be designed to generate electromagnetic waves at not only microwave frequencies but also radio and infrared frequencies. For this reason, Townes suggested replacing microwave with the word molecular as the first word in the acronym maser.

Source is Wikipedia but there are references.

In the Godzilla franchise by Toho, the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF) and other military organisations often utilise masers in the form of directed-energy weapons mounted on tanks, stationary weapon emplacements and aircraft in an effort to combat rampaging kaiju. Numerous iterations of Mechagodzilla also use masers as part of their arsenals.

I knew they could use this TOO for nefarious purposes!!!

Yeah that was what I had read too about masers, hence my question. No amount of goal post moving by OP will change that fact since even real scientist working with them are not as smart.

OP knows best

In that case LASERs are MASERs. I suppose. Still doesn't make sense. Molecules are not being amplified.

Perhaps ERASER would be better, Electromagnetic Radiation Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.

In any case, HAARP ain't that. It's a phased array RF transmitter.

Which forum would you suggest? Perhaps a mod could relocate it.

Instead of wobbling around post for post and not admitting you were just wrong, why don't you just call the responsible people and tell them that you know it better? Or just accept that you were not up to date? Is that so hard?

I would love to hear their responses, maybe you can share them then

Science & Technology would be a good start if you don't want to engage with the "conspiracy" aspect and consider conspiracies the realm of "tinfoil hatters". You're the one that mentions conspiracies of all sorts in your OP.

Or maybe the Nouns and Adjectives forum or something...

Is that all you can find to say after that post you made, about my post not making any sense?
You give up on the point now by saying that we are back to the original goalpost?
You could have done that on your first reply to me, but that would not have facilitated your misguided ego-boost of trying to make everyone else look a bit lower than you.

But I can't ignore the idiocy of past glories about HAARP claims. I'm old.

Obviously.

I think ERASER is a pretty cool name though. Covers the gamut.

You're not the topic.

The OP is.

But you don't want it to be for some reason, yet you wrote it.
