When the war is over and Ukraine signs treaty ceding Donbas to Russia, Donbas is internationally recognized as Russian land. Then, in exchange for China ceding Chinese far east including Khabarovsk and Vladivostok to Russia, Russia cede Donbas to China. This way, China has good land in Europe. Donbas has 6 million people. The entire Chinese far east China gave to Russia is probably not even 6 million people. On top of that, Donbas has a lot of coal which China likes to use for electricity. What do you think? Vote in the poll above.

Isn't Vladivostok actually in Russia?

It was Chinese territory until the 1850s or thereabouts.

Manchus conquered the area from native Nenets in the 1800s but rarely settled by Manchus. Manchus are from modern day Harbin area which is called Manchuria.

Yes, but it's not now, so how could China cede it to Russia?

China gave it to Russia in the 1800s when they agreed the rivers as the border. Russia did not take it by force. So it was given.

Ah. I get it now, thanks.

I don't think that Donbas is internationally recognized as Russian land.

Quite the opposite?

You ... may want to do a little more research on Chinese culture.

What you're suggesting is the equivalent of saying that America should hand Israel over to Iran in exchange for them giving up their nuclear ambitions.

China has something of a complex when it comes to territory. China absolutely won't let go of even a MM of land that it believes belongs to it, even if that land has no strategic or economic value, and even if defending it cost billions of dollars and thousands of lives.

No, I'm not talking about Taiwan, I'm talking about the border between India and China. China won't cede a single rock to India, even if it has no actual value to China.

On the other hand, if land wasn't historically part of China, then China couldn't give even the smallest F about it.

China has a very singular mindset when it comes to land, it absolutely won't give anything to Russia, and it wouldn't want Donbas even if it was made of pure gold.

Oh, it would want the gold, but it wouldn't want the territory. It would see having the territory as making China a colonial power, and China prefers to think of itself as being the victim of colonialism, not the victimizer.

Don't forget about the Japanese connection, there's some real bad history going on there.

Not historically Chinese. It was for some years Manchu land after Manchus crossed the rivers and conquered the area from Nenets.

Interesting this is the second new account around here proposing this exact thing. If I remember correct the name was similar too...

The people in Donbas wouldn't put up with the Kiev regime BS it's likely they would do the same with the CCP.
