Also, it's been reported that DePape has an arrest record that includes prostitution.
There are also reports that Paul Pelosi was friends with Ed Buck. Remember, Buck was the guy who got arrested after a male prostitute died of a drug overdose at his house -- for the second time.
DePape claims that Pelosi hired him for sex, and that they were arguing over drugs when the cops arrived. I suspect that Pelosi has the same fetish as Buck, and he wanted DePape to get high on drugs, but DePape didn't want to. Perhaps he didn't want to end up like the last 2 guys.

They can...and will...cover this up six ways to Sunday.
This is Pelosi country.
Federal prosecutors have filed two charges against David DePape, the suspect in the attack on Paul Pelosi, Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband. NBC's Ken Dilanian has details on the charges of attempted kidnapping and assault with intent to retaliate against a federal official by threatening a family member.

Well they are moving forward with federal charges.
The man accused of attacking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband Paul was formally charged Monday with federal counts of assault on the immediate family member of a federal official and attempted kidnapping of a federal official.
CBS news
DePape said he wanted to hold Nancy Pelosi captive and talk to her
He said that if the speaker told 'the truth' he would let her go, and if she 'lied' he would 'break her kneecaps'
'She would then have to be wheeled into Congress, which would show other Members of Congress there were consequences to actions,' he explained
DePape on Monday was charged with assault and attempted kidnapping by the Department of Justice
The suspect, who is now in custody, is expected to appear in court this week on separate state charges
State charges include attempted homicide, first-degree burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery with serious bodily injury
Other charges include elder abuse, threatening a public official, or family member, among others
Fox News reports that DePape had been living in the U.S. illegally as a 'longtime' visa overstay

Hmmm so no breaking and entering, trespassing, or the likes.
Which is a felony under CA Penal Code 459.
Strange.

Have they concocted an explanation for why he was doing this in his underwear? Or why he thought a hammer was a suitable weapon?
