"Elon Musk completed his takeover of Twitter Inc. TWTR 0.66%increase; green up pointing triangle Thursday and fired Chief Executive Parag Agrawal and Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal, according to people familiar with the matter."

Elon Musk Completes Takeover of Twitter

I have nothing but hope here.

Give us back our speech to fight the Liberal propaganda.

It's worth 44 billion just to see these firings beginning of very immoral scum bags. All they did was defend lies and punish truth.
Imagine the great fun Elon is going to have firing hundreds, or even thousands of Twitter employee trolls and bots.

A great professor in college,
honestly I cannot recall his exact business
discipline but it was subtle
stated once 'every system has a degree of tyranny'.

Don't worry Eel will be all over this, guiding it like
opposing thrusters. Already he has the lines drawn,
the lines between essentially
what are just two sides.

What did he say....
why
he said 'each side'.

Yes.
In a preamble he said

'Each Side....'

What he really means here,
means
in every conceivable political arena,
is 'Each Direction'.
Each and Every Direction

he didn't do this for the money.

Bigger than the Beatles.

(make love all day long)

I just want the free speech back, the speech that allows me to dispute a vaccine, to dispute a propaganda war in Ukraine, to say 2020 was stolen, to fight back, through peaceful speech.

Likewise. Never joined Twitter. Never will.

I'm glad you have hope .

I see Twitter collapsing almost immediately , That site is held together by Vapid Liberals it is the Liberal Echo chamber of Liberal Echo chambers.

It is where people are Canceled it is the Political mud-pit that caters to Liberals and when they no longer have full control Twitter will collapse .

Just my theory

let me add to here .. Unless enough new users come in to fill the void either way its a massive gamble on Elons part .

Just read in Australian news that the CEO, CFO and legal affairs/policy chief have all been fired.

CEO and CFO apparently escorted out of the building.

In his first hour as Owner of Twitter, Elon Musk FIRED the Trump-hating (former) executive who "permanently banned" Donald Trump from the platform.

Elon is brilliant. Twitter will be an enormous platform for advertising whatever Elon deems worthy. You don't sink that kind of money on a project just for fun. I wonder if twitter will become a pay to play site.

Rumor from this past Summer. Software Boobie-Traps were inserted in the code that generates what we see online. Activated if Musk takes over the company...and will make it look like he's failed in the first few weeks.

FYI:

BREAKING: Elon Musk has fired Vijaya Gadde, Twitter’s now former head of legal policy, trust & safety

We will never forget what she said on the 1.8.2021 #TwitterAllHands call, leaked by a brave Twitter insider...

"We decided to escalate our enforcement of the Civic Integrity policy and use a label that disabled engagements to stop the spread of potentially inflammatory content, which is the content around, election interference, election fraud, stealing the election, that type of thing."

Elon didn't do this for the money.

Although, if he does fire 2/3rds of the staff (those that are thought police type at Twitter, 2000 people left assume to be coders), Twitter could become very profitable very quickly.

For FY 2021, Twitter had sales of $5 billion and cost of revenue of $1.8 Billion for a gross profit of $3.2 Billion. Now, the next line of cost was Operating Expenses ( salaries) for $3 Billion, that left Twitter with a profit of only $200 million for all of FY 2021.

If Elon cuts positions by 2/3, that Operating expense number would go down to only $1 Billion, which means that if Elon had run the show in FY 2021, profit would have been a massive $2.2 Billion, not $200 million

Given that there are 765 million shares of Twitter, that would have translated to $2.87/share.

In two years from now, assuming he refloats Twitter as a public company making $2.87/share with a conservative P/E of 25, Elon could refloat Twitter for $72/share or $54 Billion

Elon may have overpaid $44 Billion now, but clearly he could be ahead $10 Billion in a few years

Good that Elon actually gets financially rewarded for destroying the current net of totalitarian communists at Twitter
It's poetic justice.

And then there's this, I don't think it will happen but........it worked on Parler. I don't put anything past them..

Apple and Google committed to act against Twitter

American writer and a woke activist Shaun King recently claimed in a Tweet that commitments have already been made by Apple and Google to deplatform Twitter if the app fails to moderate and remove “hate speech” from the platform.

I am told this morning that Apple and Google will remove Twitter from the App Store if it does not moderate and remove hate speech under @ElonMusk.

This isn’t a new policy, but a commitment already made.

I predict, in 1-2 years, a different type of social media platform that is adored by all being run by the same jackasses as we've been dealing with, heading up future narratives. They've had a taste; I doubt they'll be so eager to let it go.
