One question, well, maybe two

Ok, what is with the levels? I like them and all, but how do you up the bars? Lower them, gain new levels? I went through XMB hoping this information was already posted, but couldn't find it.

I think it is a good idea though, for if you want higher levels, I think you need to do more than just sit in chit chat or Cryptozoology and so forth. One has to go to other parts and post reasonable posts. It also keeps spammers down who just want a million posts posted just to post them.

Is any of that on target? Or did I just shoot the guy three spots down the target range?

It is already posted somewhere. Like most message boards, your stars and bars (dern tootin' I'm a rebel:roll increase with the number of posts. However, each bar means something or other. I think "Insider Appreciation" only increases when people vote for you. William?

I personally don't care about the bars or stars. I appreciate quality posts and am not at all in awe of people who have more bars and stars of me.
