Why is COVID and the jab so internally policized for so many? Manipulation, folks.

I'm a new member to this site, but have been reading posts for some time now. Does anyone else see these glaring similarities?

Politics: A politician sells his appeal thru a long list of stated desires/beliefs, whose message appeals to others for a whole range of possibilities. These people then begin to fight the politician's fight, often with evidence the politician provides. They never discuss contradictory evidence. Yes, there is an over-arching, overly simplistic framework to these discussions/debates. However, t is a rare politician that hasn't left a person feel burned, manipulated. Information is presented in a way to almost guarantee this result, as society become parrots instead of critical thinkers.

Remember when political correctness came to the forefront in the 90's? PCU with David Spade? lol As anticipated, political correctness has infiltrated every facet of society, including the practice of "science." This is the desired result: A bunch of parrots running around squawking what the federal government overlords are saying. They control the subject (did they declare it an issue?), and they control the discussion (evidence?). They can even organize/pay those in the entertainment industry to push their narrative. This anti-intellectual approach is further exacerbated when people get cancelled from society. Never mind that every human being has life-experience, it doesn't count. What could you think/believe that would be more correct than a government employee (i mean "public servant") or celebrity? Nothing.

Money is the big shiny lure that already corrupted politicians can't resist since they already have no morals or qualms manipulating their constituents, whom they hold in contempt anyways.

When Trump was "advertising" the new vaccines, the left was outright against it, then after the big cheat, they saw the cash and income opportunity so they became BFF's with Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J.

The worst scum of the politicians even illegally mandated the jabs because of the guaranteed boost in kickbacks and graft that would surely follow, and did. Although they exempted themselves and some faked getting jabbed. It spread to other countries with their own corrupt politicians as well.

All because of easy money regardless of the lives it would cost and the destruction to the country's infrastructure and economies.

The short answer is that around the world the left typically wanted to go with a top down approach. Lockdowns, mandatory PPE, Mandatory vaxxing. While the right either wanted people to be able to decide what was the appropriate level of protection for themselves on an individual basis.

This created a left-right divide over one of the biggest hot button topics of the day.

This divide was then exploited by all kinds of people, including quacks pushing snake oil, conspiracy nuts trying to tie covid into everything from 5G to various WEF agenda, and people who saw doom porn as a good way to generate clicks for their websites.

Around here we get a lot of the conspiracy types and the doom porn pushers.

Maybe where you come from, where I come from we basically saw the left pushing a pretty typical nanny-state agenda and the right pushing a typical libertarian agenda. It was business as usual.

I don't agree with the leftists, but I also don't think that money was the first thing on their minds. Typically, the left deal with the poor. People who often have comorbidity, and who often can't afford to get sick if only because they can't miss the shifts. So while I think that they are misguided, I also thing that they are basically honest in what they're doing.

I also don't agree with a lot of what the right is doing, but I similarly think that it's an honest reaction based on their established political views, and that they are thinking more about what their voters think than they are about cashing in on the pandemic.

Here in canada, even our politicians jumped on the bandwagon to trash those who could see the weakness of the pandemic and wanted to be able to decide for themselves. Our official taxpaid media censored any comments to this effect too and produced no articles in opposition whatsoever.

What is said above trickled down to the vicious masses and suddenly families were attacking the unvaccinated.

Hardly fair and that's why people here are angry.

This is well beyond personal gain by a few corrupt individuals on either side.

At the level of average people, I totally agree with you on this. The vast majority gained nothing from their position and came about it honestly.

My issue is with the propaganda where I live and the damage it has done as most people don't seem to have a capacity to recognize it or their good hearts can't believe such awful exists in government.

most are on the middle and got ran over by both sides... that's typical for my country where even civil war tends to end in 3 sides the 2 who want to fight each other and the rest who want them both to fight somewhere else..

the thing is this far into the pandemic the views of that middle has crystalised.. I've noticed a rejiggle in vax numbers my city has gone from 90% first 2 to 80%/70% first 2 and around 10% for the boosters the interesting part is its mirrored in god waiting rooms, and in uni/student towns, as well as liberal, green, socialist and conservative towns.. a uniformity is emerging in how the initial high adoption rates and trust has catastrophically reversed themselves..

and the political class in my country have managed to tie themselves in knots over a couple of bn in tax cuts and get rid of the current gov because they claim the unaffordable cuts would crash the markets can't now claim to afford to impose any form of restriction or lockdown measures.. over and over we see them all painting themselves into corners then being hit with unintended consequences and sparking the very conspiracies they hate.. uk conservative politicians this weekend claiming they are for a pro reset and anti free market leader now end up talking themselves into yet another corner to get out of the last one..

the conspiracies have been created by a very incompetent political class ..
