I have seen several but the last one convinced me it was not just a peripheral vision illusion. I was at Black Canyon National Park in Wyoming near Lowell Wyoming and I spent the night and I was looking up at the night sky. I wanted to see the sky in this area since there are no large cities or light pollution. I was looking directly at this star and it was not moving it did not look exceptional in any way and then it blinked. Other times in other places in other states I dismissed it as an illusion however those lights blinked and did not reappear the entire light in the sky which I thought was a star disappeared. You Are Not Alone! These things do not fascinate me but they do intrigue me. When I was little I saw the alien Gray and since that time I have seen many UFOs and several up close with great detail and with Witnesses. The most recent one I saw at night in Sheridan Wyoming out my second story window hovering just below the Treetops in the park on the south side of Sheridan Wyoming. It's slowly gained altitude and left the park and floated over the city towards the foothills east of town. Had it been a helicopter everyone in the building would have been awakened and it could not have been a hovering airplane there was no sound at all. Prior to that while looking out the window of my second story toward the mountains the Bighorn mountains I saw a flying saucer-shaped disc glowing White and it had black spots around the diameter I watched it for about 2 minutes and it blinked out. I could go on and on and on. I am 64 years old now and I have wondered to myself why do I see so many UFOs and there are people that are professional UFO Hunters spending their lives having never seen one not even one.

Really, that's interesting because I thought I saw a star disappear about a week ago too but I thought a small, nearly invisible cloud must have moved directly in front of it.
All of the other stars remained in place the entire time I watched the sky (30-45 minutes), but that one star did not reappear.
Not so sure about it, I still think a coincidental cloud happened to appear there... it was just too funky...
but for 45 minutes?
Very interesting, indeed. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread but over time, I've observed so far that I have only seen them in the western area of the sky in two separate areas around 20 miles apart.
Why would these only be present in the western sky? Has anyone else only seen them in one particular direction?
