Investigators in Paris are baffled by the shocking discovery of a schoolgirl bound in a bag with cuts across her body.

An unidentified device was used to brand mysterious numbers onto the girl's body, including ones and zeroes.

She had her wrists and hands bound, with cuts across her body.

The suitcase was found abandoned in the 19th arrondissement in the French capital.

A post-mortem yesterday confirmed that she had died of asphyxiation.

Four people are in custody relating to the incident, local broadcaster BFMTV reported.

Considering it happened in the French Capitol which is Paris, that's doubtful.

How sad.

Something about this case reminds me of the Junko Furuta case.

I won't be surprised if the four people taken into custody are classmates of hers that tried to dispose of her body after raping her.

Seen, heard and read a lot of things over the years.
Lots of serial killers, rapists, nonces, sadistic murderers etc.
It never ceases to disgust me the evils human beings can do to other human beings, especially the weak, defenceless, young and vulnerable.

How could anyone do something like this to a 12 year old child?
I can't even begin to think and imagine how the poor lass would have suffered.

I guess the time to worry would be when things like this don't disgust me.

Surprised you didn't try to explain it with the vaccine. But saying they got the address wrong to a long dead guys island is equally as off topic and does nothing for the thread.

One of the French sources I saw says six in custody, but do not say more about it.

Another source says that one of the people in custody is the one that reported the finding of the suitcase.

I wouldn't like to second guess the mind(s) of anyone who could commit such an act but maybe the numbers are a deliberate deflection, or maybe a binary code or as you said possibly indicative of some ritualistic aspect to the murder.

Hopefully those currently under questioning will be able to shed some light on things.
