This is said to have gone viral on Chinese social media a couple days ago. What are they preparing this for? My guess would be Taiwan. The movies they're going to make about the Taiwan/Chinese war is going to better than any of the last 5 Terminator films.

don't kid yourself though, these are the same robots the US is developing. you'll see these deployed against extreme maga republicans in the next election at polling stations around the country. they'll just look at you while you vote and if the scanner picks up that you voted wrong they'll go into attack mode.

Paintball gun.(blinds sensors)
Plastic bag.(same idea)
Bola.(immobilizes from distance)

Three cheap and simple technologies to combat the dreaded robot apocalypse, without even mentioning the humble molotov.

It was in Libya that they said that drones have already used artificial intelligence to identify and kill targets. you'd think this would be a bigger deal. Not sure if this is the same, but I also heard Turkey's name attached to this activity, though not sure why they would be in Libya so I'm assuming that's a 2nd incident.

I hope nobody airdrops a cargo net or rope onto them and gets a free machine gun.
Lol..you could disable with a Walmart toy drone.
Silly nerds

Wow...
By the way the gun is mounted, I'd be nervous if I lived in Australia.

The US has bigger fish to fry.

They're gonna have 87 different genders of robot dogs.

Some will even identify as human and run to Canada to avoid the draft.

Worth mentioning China develops a lot of trial systems. Some of them go to the PLA, others are bought by other parties, and many don't go anywhere. Pretty much like any defense r&d establishment.

Cheers

This would work against one or two robots.

If AI is used in a swarm, the AI could tap into surveillance infrastructures, and perhaps even cell phones if the communications corporations allow for 5G cell towers to be used.

You're going to have to climb up to every video camera and sabotage cell towers all while the robots already know your location, plan, where you are going to go, where your cohorts are going to go, where to position for ambush, and leave enough battery charge for return.

Those dogs should avoid Canada if they know what's good for them

Paint ball guns aimed at whatever they use for 'optic' sensors.

I suspect most have seen the dog robots in action, but in case you haven't, check out Big Dog on the Boston Dynamics web site. It would ne terrifying to run up against this in the field, especially if they are hunting you. but at the same time, totally awesome.

that one sounds like a chainsaw, is it powered by a two-stroke gas engine?

I was wondering how long the battery life was for these other robots.

Nothing a 7mm rem mag can't handle.

Spray with old oil, the dust will just build up and make it useless. The battery might be useful.
