I believe that is technically true, however in these times where the Constitution is in more jeopardy of being marginalized than ever before, I'm not certain what is allowable (enforceable) and what is not. I know that in seven of the small towns in which I have people, they are pulling together, concerned about "invading outsiders". Anecdotal information should not be considered "truth", however I thought I'd share what I know in support of other little rural burgs that don't seem to care about racial demographics.

The military-industrial wants peace like a hole in the head. They are the ones pulling the strings. In the end, they could be the downfall, does a capitalistic system with, a dumb son promoted to the board because daddy is rich and powerful make for the better decisions required for national defense. The whole system is based on graft paybacks and scratch my back. To maximize profits will the end product be the best it could be? we are seeing more spin than performance at every level. A system that used to work well has been mutilated by just in time. I would assume that the Generals are political appointments as well. They must now be trans-gay friendly and vanilla. No competent Chief would allow the defense force to be poisoned en masse. Everything that's going on in civilian life will be mirrored in the forces as well. It is as if the enemy has already done its work before the work starts. When you have a system in place like this, everyone is telling everyone else what they want to hear, and are praying that the S does not hit the fan before they retire out.

At the moment Ukraine might be just a ploy to weaken Russia. They would rather use Ukrainians until they can't. If that is the case then watch out Berlin.

It doesn't appear that the 'west' would have had any trouble defeating russia even before russia invaded Ukraine.

We certainly wouldn't have any trouble doing it now, other than the facts that we have zero interest and russia has nukes.

ccp appeared quite pleased at first, then they realized their entire military was built around russian tech & tactics, and remembered that the US & EU were by far their largest customers.

They don't appear to be pleased with russia anymore.

Biden just wants to make sure Ukraine remains UNDER US control so he and future US politicians can continue making personal money for their bank accounts from various "dealings" there or was it just a coincidence that Biden, Pelosi, Romney and a couple others all had kids or other family members making bank by sitting on Ukrainian oil company boards? Biden getting Ukrainian government prosecutors fired for investigating Oil companies that his family members are making bank from with threats of blackmail in the form of holding back Billions in aid.

It's so obvious the US WANTS to hold control of Ukraine (and they did control Ukraine make no mistake) at any cost

There's really nothing new in what you said. Just look what happened in Vietnam - building roads to no where, government contract corruption. Where there's money, there's corruption. Whatever American culture turns out to be, the puppeteers behind the curtain will never allow their pocketbooks to be depleted. The media would have you think the entire country has gone bonkers with abnormal behavior, etc. It isn't true. There's still hard working Americans holding it up. The clue that this is true is tax revenues - every quarter is a record. Money talks, bs walks.

Wouldn't you want to negotiate when you have the most leverage?
