Half the population can't pass this science quiz. Can you do it?

Nah,.. you're not. It's a tough quiz. I had several lucky guesses.

I made it through 14 questions (2 answered wrong) before I quit the website because even on a computer, the peripheral media is just overwhelming. Maybe share a quiz that isn't bombarding me with ads.

I got 5/5 and then stopped because it was a lot of questions and I knew I wasn't going to miss any more.

Only 18.

A bit annoyed as I have that thing where you think you've read the question and answer when you've not read it properly because you were so busy thinking you knew the answer...

Some lucky guesses, too.

19 out of 24.

I don't make a habit of memorizing the moons of the gas giants for one. For two, I got thrown on the cerebellum because I remember reading that it has a role in emotion; it does, but that's a relatively new thing. Plus cerebrum just seemed too obvious. And I never really have cared about botany and plants much, so knowing when the first flowers happened? Yeah, not going to be floating around randomly up there.

The flower question was one that I got wrong,

Same here. I got to question 18, only missing the cerebrum/cerebellum question, then I figured fighting the pop up ads was harder than the test.

Half the population can't pass this science quiz.

I wouldn't class many of those questions as general knowledge, so the fail rate isn't that surprising to be honest.

21/24

Yes, I would agree with that. The periodic table stuff was close to it, but I took pretty extensive chemistry in high school into college. So for me, that would be general. Getting down into which gas giants have which moons is trickier. Most people are going to have heard of Ganymede and Europa and maybe Io, but Callisto is stretching it.

23/24 . I wish my teachers had based tests like that in school.
Easy .
(I second thought my only answer I got wrong)

¯_(ツ)_/¯

Should've had more chemistry question.

I got 18/24, with 3 or 4 unlucky guesses. I have a tendency to second-guess my first instinct, and change my decision; it always turns out I talked myself out of the correct answer. [ facepalm ]

I can't get enough of stuff like this! Years ago I put together an absolutely kickass group that travels up to an hour to compete in trivia tournaments. We usually dominate, when we don't, we're right in the running. It's great fun!
