Dr. Peter Breggin is a psychiatrist who has been in the public eye for decades and is known as "the conscience of psychiatry."

He has a weekly program on Brighteon that I follow called "ReFounding America."

In his latest episode he is talking about a new platform that he and his wife Ginger are associated with called America Out Loud: Liberty and Justice for All which features columns and radio.

He also talks about how disturbing it is that there are people in the United States that are being held in prison without due process as is supposed to be guaranteed by our Bill of Rights.

He and his wife have come up with an idea that I think is a good one—actively encouraging we the people to have peaceful assemblies for freedom.

The episode: 10/5/2022 ReFounding America: Peter Breggin MD

I'm from Kansas and Missouri, siblings in several states as well. There is no more time for talk and "protests". That time was over. Most of us are just waiting for the call to arms. Some of us are getting our rusty skills back into play. Some of us are collection knowledge for support. They have attack our homes, schools, public life and our economy ON PURPOSE no less, and this guy thinks peaceful protests are the answer?

Give me a #ing break. It is time to force them out.

Yes, that's a good example, because our local governments are extremely important for taking back our country.

No need to curse.

I'm not in favor of "a call to arms."

I'm in favor of keeping our cool, spreading truth, and connecting with my local community for idea-exchange. If things get really rough in the coming year regarding food shortage, we are going to NEED EACH OTHER to survive.

The issue is that you can not trust others when they are hungry and cold. Even worse thought. Imagine being the parent of a hungry cold child. What would not do to take care of yours first. Sentiment and good thoughts get you only so far. Realisticly if things tumble, most of the currently population under 35 around the world would freak out. They have no discipline or self control and obvioulsy no work ethic. So I will agree no need for call to arms. Just realize a starving human is worse then a starving animal and you won't stop a group of people from getting to food.

One day? No!

Peaceful assemblies are already tagged as domestic terrorism.

There have been multiple firebombings of pro-life installations of late with no arrests or consequences for the perpetrators, but people peacefully assembling in front of murder mills are arrested.

During the mass house arrests, BLM and Antifa looters we allowed free reign while people having family gatherings or simply taking their children to the park were arrested.

We're already there, buddy!

The key is to not let things get that bad before joining forces, perhaps to start community gardens. I don't know. The task does seem overwhelming.

It would be more peaceful to be 'mostly peaceful'

The question is how to wake those asleep to the realities of 'the elites behind the curtain'

"community gardens" LOL I'd like to see how long those lasts when SHTF , or those 'suppressed' feel entitled to it all

So is he proposing that we get rid of pretrial detention and do away with the bail system? I seem to recall a number of people on the Left have been proposing this for a while.

Or is this specifically J6 related? If that's the case, everyone currently detained have been charged.

No.

The problem is they have been denied a speedy trial. And been held in solitary confinement.

Probably people who don't live in cities could be more successful. I don't know.

So he doesn't actually care about people being detained in this country without due process? He just thinks the side he supports should be given special treatment under the law.

From a column by the two of them about the idea of creating "Freedom Flyers" to aid in reaching out:

Freedom Flyers – A Paul Revere Moment to Save the World

. . . Where can you find your neighbors who are concerned as you are about our threatened freedoms? That is where these flyers can be distributed. Local farmers markets, Walmart, sports events, community meetings, churches, main street shops, under the windshield wipers of cars, inside front screen doors, at dog parks — you get the idea! You can pass these out or put them on car windshields, ask local store owners to leave some flyers on counters, and hand them out after the high school ball game on Friday night. . .

www.americaoutloud.com...

They have created one which is available to download here: Link
