Does anyone know if he's working toward integration or possibly already achieved it??

So what happens when a violent, sadistic, unethical alter is in charge during the voting proceedings or brings a law to the table?

What if the "nice alters" are just being used to get him into a position of power to where the "dark alters" can take over?

We just cross our fingers and hope for the best?

We're already dealing with enough as it is.

I'm all for tolerance and understanding for those who suffer from mental illness, as I suffer from Schizophrenia myself, but I'm not running for (or interested) in a position of power where my condition would dramatically affect the lives of my (theoretical) constituents.

I would take a hard pass on this one just for safety's sake.

How weird that the wife reported he managed to keep his alters at bay until after he was diagnosed, then he did crazy stuff like put a razor to her throat. It's almost like he used it as an excuse/entitlement to act out and be an asshole! I see people on social media list their mental disorders like they are rattling off a list of their accomplishments. How many of them use those conditions as excuses for bad behavior? People shouldn't be ashamed of a health issue, but neither should they feel proud and entitled to be a jerk or a slacker because of it. Rising above it, and being their best selves despite a mental illness-- now that's something that deserves a shout-out!

DID doesn't have a biochemical component, so it can't be treated with medication. The only course of treatment is extensive therapy, and even then final fusion may not be achievable.

You poor thing, to know enough about it to even know to say that. The people that have truly endured these people are titled "[whichever personality disorder] survivors". And for good reason. In the end, these little monsters that the core of their obsession is, how special they are, when you truly understand, entirely see through them. They're not.

That's the JOKE.

And that's why they all fear most of all being exposed. Because when you finally truly understand and can therefore see right through them, they're all the same. Literally the most predictable types out there. Astonishingly, everything you end up dealing with in the end, can be summed up in a short 'flowchart'.

At least walker has admitted his life was an utter train wreck at one time and seems to be working past some of the worst aspects of his life. To be fair, doesn't most all of our USA politicians have this ailment? They play all nice and charity when campaigning and when they get elected they show all their alters afterwards, and destroy the country on the slow spiral to oblivion we are on now.

I've never taken time to really analyze my various aspects and so forth, they're usually pretty intgrated and I experience control over them and as far as I know I have no memory loss or anything.

My husband would tell me if I was acting inappropriately or extremely unusual or uncharacteristic and would call the EMT's or the proper response team if there was something seriously awry.

I don't think I'm DID.

I just hear voices and respond to unusual stimulus prompts from time to time, but it's mostly controlled these days through my medication and isn't as schzoid and chaotic as it was a decade ago.

Without having a comprehensive analysis of his reported alters and their psychological profiles I can't make an accurate assessment of his situation outside of what his former family has reported.

And those reports concern me.
