And Yes, When we look at all the pieces on the chess board, it looks like it's about to go down. Seems like tensions are high enough (especially all things considered) for things to pop off. Maybe not in any global fall out, but even possibly "accidentally" as someone else pointed out. NK fired awfully close (I think) to where US&SK we're running their drills. I can see NKs missle "going rogue," and woops, an entire nation wiped out---in retaliation.

I could see it happening just as easily as the faulty identification of MH17 over the Donbas region of Ukraine that led to it being shot down by Russian Separatists in 2014.

Hopefully most modern nations can identify the trajectory of missiles by now and identify their source before someone hits the panic button.

The Belgorod isn't capable of carrying hypersonic missiles actually. Her only weapons are the Poseidon torpedoes. She was originally designed as a scientific sub, and to do deep sea rescue work, and was modified into a special operations boat.

I just went back and checked, it was an article that moves into another then another with no break in between. Pair that with my speed reading / skimming and i have found my confusion. It said that Russia has moved its Hypersonic missiles to the Belgorod region. Serves me right, cutting corners like that.

It helps that I've been doing a lot of reading up on her lately, so there's that to my advantage. It is kind of confusing, because they also have the Borei class ballistic missile sub, so it would be easy to mix the two up.

No doubt North Korea is clever, they have to be to survive the economic sanctions imposed on them for their failure to heed the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty and not joining NATO. I know they never agreed to do so but the offer was there for them. They choose to live a harder life than they need to.
