The difference is that some got a bunch of evidence together, rather than making wild accusations.

Proof is what is needed.

If only the FBI would just investigate the bombshell that 2000 mules revealed, including evidence in the form of video recording from government cameras, obtained after Foia requests.

We have dozens and dozens of people on tape in the middle of the night throwing in stacks of ballots and throwing away gloves and taking pictures of ballot boxes afterwards. Combine that with exact time stamps of geographic locations of their phones at at least 10 different drop boxes per run, and all you need is to investigate who and what is in all the buildings they went inside and arrest those people and get confessions.

Anyone objective can see the fraud. At the FBI and in 2000 mules on tape and everything.

False. He was arrested for storing personal poll worker data (vitals and what not), not ELECTION DATA.

I didn't know it was illegal to store your contact list in the cloud.

Seems kind of excessive for the feds to get involved. wonder if you are leaving something out.

He was storing the data on servers in China which is a violation of the contract with L.A. County. Seems shady but arresting him does seem excessive unless other laws were broken.

I wonder if the reason you don't want the data stored in China is because they might do something with it. like say hypothetically you've given China the identities of the people with access to critical election systems then maybe China who has backdoors in all consumer electronics produced in China could easily use that info to gain access to said systems.

but sure, it's more likely simple identity theft, like China wanted to open up some credit cards in their names and buy stuff on amazon.

at least Newsweek hasn't given up hope on the narrative

Only election-deniers are glad that arrests were made for sending poll worker personal information to China? Actually, yeah, that's probably true. There's probably someone in here or coming soon to tell us why this is a bad thing.

It's ok, he was just storing poll worker information on Chinese servers, which by the way are extremely safe and secure since Chinese privacy laws are so strong for their citizens.

It's been 2 days and the Stuart from the NYT has still yet to mention this article that he wrote. The latest article he has tweeted and commented on is still the one before the CEO was arrested. Must be working on a big mea culpa update.

oh, and to the "it's just a couple contacts stored in the cloud" people, the group True The Vote who brought the issue to the attention of the feds were able to download the information for 1.8 MILLION poll workers and election officials. So this goes far beyond just some small contractor. This means China has access to multiple election systems and passwords. The Chinese don't need to hack this company to get the data, since its in China they just ask for it if they weren't already in an arrangement to receive it.

but remember there's no widespread evidence of election integrity issues or fraud.

By storing it in China their government are legally allowed to use the data, they dont even have to hack anything. Thats how it works with US servers as well.
