The easiest way to blow it up would be hacking the pipeline software that runs the pumps, turbines, and valves etc... just create a setting that produces pressures beyond what the pipeline can hold.

An easier way is for Russia to wire a bunch of plastic explosives to a pipe inspection or cleaning pig and run it to the point they want to blow it up. Simple and there is nothing to see by satellite or plane flying in the area
not targeting system on a missile or divers needed, No ships in the area no sounds that could be recorded from an object in the area but the blast.
