I am not talking about abuse. Many people are spoiled rotten, and can't handle not getting their own way 100% of the time. When you say "No" to these people, whether it is because you can't, because your wont for their own good, or because you wont because you are sick of them always taking, it's oppression to them. No is only ever acceptable on their terms, usually when they are saying it to you. They jump on the issues of actual victims of abuse and oppression, although they have lived lives of privilege, then either exaggerate or manufacture something so they too can be victims, because victimhood has currency. This is what has happened to society, especially here in the west. It's the Veruca Salt generation.

I agree, buttons can only be pushed if allowed. But people are weak, and sometimes people sink so low that it will take a literal saint to not react. Look at Roe vs Wade for a prime example of both sides behaving utterly reprehensibly.

That's what happens (Roe v. Wade) when people think their rights are being taken away, including those people having other people tell them 'no'. It actually is repression of rights.

I know this is an oversimplification, but Roe vs Wade was a reaction to the left taking and taking. Some people wanted to be able to abort babies in the third trimester, which was inevitably challenged. Roe vs Wade was a fair compromise. Now because the left went too far, they have lost it all. It's their own fault. That is not oppression, or repression. It is consequences, and well deserved judging by their reaction.

Good point.

I mean, I'm sure some of them are talented artists and musicians, writers and so forth.

I just hear about the protests and negative aspects most of the time and would love more positive examples of the community being shared. Folks who are doing something other than fighting, arguing, making death threats and the like.

I know they can't be doing this full time, they have to do something else that's constructive and beneficial outside of their activism.

I just get overwhelmed with the constant flow of Negative Press I guess.

You know it's weird, I know this, and I know why they do it, and I still read it anyway.

I feel it's a social duty to stay informed of both sides of the issues.

But lately, I've been leaning a lot more towards Traditional Conservative Values because the Left has lost it's ability to think ahead and indepth about a lot of talking points, like the Green New Deal.

On the surface it seems wonderful, but the actual logistics of it proves otherwise.

Again that logic cant in no way be used to explain whats going on in our present situation. We specifically have a gender, and choosing to ignore that based on your feelings is not the same thing as a Species or Beings (your NOUNS- Nonsense not mine) having no sex and then expressing themselves cerebrally. That right there is completely doable and understanble

But suggesting Human Beings would be groomed in a similar process would undermine the nature of there natural biological order of existence
