I'm just curious what people on this board have for nicknames in real life? what do your friends call you? where did you get them from?

Depends who's speaking to me...most call me my first name. Some call me 'Bidz', short for my last name...

...others just call me 'you f@$^& a-hole'...in which case they are soon also calling an ambulance...

My online friends insist on calling me Freddie or Fred, even though they know my real name. I also go by Hallo Keety. My real life friends generally call me a shortened version of my real name.

In my college yrs, I was The Batman (b/c I wore the insignia on a tanktop when I was weghtlifting), Kock Diesel, sugarbear, can't remeber the others.

I have come to hate my last name since EVERYONE calls me by it. Damn that kid in 6th grade.

Yes, I assumed that title as a screen name on Icered which replaced Captain America b/c I got fed up with the anti-Americanism there. Did you know that they thought I was some CIA mole on IR? (I thought that was funny).

Hey, people on Law69 thought MM was a CCP mole, and he was a partner there... Does not surprise me about IR. IR is a crappy site. ATS is much better, even though most everyone (including myself) disagrees with your liberal opinions.

I haven't any nicknames at the moment unless, of course you count *mommy* or bitch(from my ex)..though people used to call me missy or Stevie. Missy is a short version of my name and Stevie was because everyone used to say I looked/dressed like Stevie Nicks..My best friend of 16 years STILL calls me Stevie!!

All my friends call me the anti-christ because of a variety of reasons, alot of them really believe i am or something like it (dont worry i'm not THAT confident in myself lol)

I asked Liz (Icyfenix, fiancee) for reasons why and here's what she's giving me :
I have stigmata, I have an uncanny ability with people, i teach people and change there lives, and everybody that knows me for a little while starts to respect me and believes i am the anti christ

well from my point of view alot of those are true, i do have stigmata, I have always taught people (i teach them how to think for themselves and make their own decisions about things) I have helped people in alot of ways and changed their lives, and saved them, And generally if people get to know me they like me

so yeah, that's the huge explanation for mine I dont think i'm the anti-christ (btw, they mean it in a good way, i dont want to explain that right now tho) lol, yall can decide

i'm going to start going by phoenix again. that was my kindanickname last year, but why the hell not? i like it better than my real name. plus, it looks good on a soccer uniform. i can piss people off, but i look good doin it.

Some of my friends from school still call me mrfreeze, but most people call me by my first name...

MrFreeze started out as a nickname on IRC and shortly after i started using it my school buddies started introducing me to their friends and family as MrFreeze...

So it kinda stuck by me...
