My question is: Why are people so terrified to admit that something is really, really wrong with this picture??
It would require them taking a mental sourney out of their 'safe space' and the current generation hasn't been taught how to deal with difficult problems. They expect a participation prize sans any effort, especially critical thinking.

... Being analytical , being driven by facts as they are reported, being methodical should not be viewed as a bad thing for those that lean that way. Similar to how those that go more conspiracy driven for everything should not automatically be labeled as crazy.

We're at the mercy of our memories, what is rational to you is insane to someone else.
If you never experienced any pain, anything bad, anything wrong you wouldnt believe someone who had experienced all those things. ...
Those whom do not have the ability to observe patterns : never get the dots we connect, because they are just unable to see those connections, and they don't believe that anybody else can have an ability that they don't have.
We are often able to see where we are stronger than average, but how many of us are able to also see, and accept the areas where we are below average ?
Very rarely will we see somebody admit, that they have a less-than average talent, in some particular field,
or aspect of life.
Perhaps even more rare here on ATS™ ?
