Get your fish
Thet sea will most likely be lost after the winter months.

We import 90% of sardines and they are canned in Thailand.

Buy them while you can.

It will thatws why its bubbling , its releasing into the atmosphere, i understand why the OP is worried but , its not going to just mingle in and disperse all over the sea like an actual Oil slick might

while most of it dissipates to the atmosphere some will absorb into the water. Further there are chemicals in there that absorb into the water. The question is will Russia shut it off, or just let it keep bubbling. they were burning 10 mil a day. Theoretically killing the fishing economy of the Scandinavia helps Russia as it hurts Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Denmark. That said, I still don't think Russia did this. all they had to do is take the compressors down for maintenance.

Do you ??? Isn't it - unlike radiation from fukushima into the pacific.

Maybe the OP should worry about the dead/dying pacific in his own backyard before worrying about other dead bodies of water and its effects on the fish.

I would like to see how the gas is poisoning the water. I did a bit of searching and found that methane has very low solubility in seawater.
The oceans of the world are an emitter of methane, not the other way around.

Ha, the Baltic sea is already long dead, polluted wasteland. The fish are trash that come from there.

If you look at the location and dates of the pipeline blasts on a vessel/aircraft tracking site... that area is crawling with US and European military, cargo etc...

Russia wouldn't risk it that far away... only a clown would do this... and we know who the clowns are.

Speaking of sardines. I bought 3 cans of Beach Cliff sardines a few weeks back. I remember, in the past, 5 or maybe 6 sardines would fill the can. Not in these 3 cans. There were no less than 20 tiny little fish in the first can. I immediately thought the industry must be crashing. I use larger minnows fishing than those sardines were.
