A Love Supreme for ATS

Hello ATS,

I heard "A Love Supreme" by John Coltrane on the radio the other day and I am reminded of just how great this song is. It's one of the great jazz songs that I never get tired of listening to. I hadn't listened to it in like 20yrs but when I heard it again after all this time, it still takes me on an emotional journey.



Some say it's Coltrane's masterpiece. What says ATS?

Oh my. Coltrane.
I first heard this piece being done by Pharoah Sanders a long with ''The Creator Has a Master Plan.''
For me, when I is possible to consider that Sanders might, at times, soar higher than Trane, Trane is for me superior. But whose judging.

I like ''Inchworm'' and especially '' My Favorite Things''.

But Coltrane's masterpiece? Trane IS the masterpiece.
