At What Level Does Algorithms and Friend/Foe AI Control Us?

Well, I'm probably marking myself for posting this but the simple mention / flooded with ads thing is well known. But what gets me is that there's no search, to mentioning it near a phone, no reading about it but simply THINKING it results in the same number of targeted ads.

That, to my thinking, means that we can throw out the AI theory and jump right to reality as a construct because if merely thinking something triggers the results then unless this AI is powerful enough to read my thoughts, something else is going on. Or maybe my brain is sooo powerful it radiates my thoughts. :/

I have noticed this as well something will pop into my mind and without saying anything go to search for it and within 2-3 letters typed in the exact same thing will pop up in the suggestions ,And it will be a obscure thing not in the news or thoughts of people ans way to many people are talking about this happening for it to be a random thing .

I avoid anything smart if possible , live alone and my phone/cell lives in the kitchen

Well that is the thing. Your reality is a construct created by your brain as it fills in massive perception gaps you are unaware of.

Its due to recognition. Its like if you learned a new word or learned some random detail then all of a sudden you notice that thing a few days later. You couldnt have noticed it when you werent paying attention or didnt know it but it was happening.
