If that's the case why have we invested so much time money and effort into lab grown meat alternatives?

I respect Vegans and Environmentalists who might want to explore the bug option on their own but try to force me into cockroach milk and toasted grubs by force and some serious (redacted) is gonna go down

I agree with you.

I am also an advocate for personal choice in matters related to reproductive health and quality of life care such as euthisinasia in certain cases.

Not free on every street corner random weirdos but rather with compassionate care health care professionals with proper counseling and care before administrating the treatment otherwise every teenager in America would off themselves the second their first boyfriend dumped them.

It always cracks me up (kind of pathetically) that other mammals (you know lower life forms) -- fight for who is the best/strongest to provide their sperm to propagate their species with best advantage to survive in future generations.

The various mating displays of males across cultures has always been fascinating to me.

You should have seen this one Jersey guy trying to woo an uninterested female with his impressive dance moves.

Spoiler....it didn't work out well for him.

Every one of your posts is intent to insult.

You really never have anything of value to add.

one scenario allows for God to choose the good people who get eternal life, the other has the government choosing who dies and who lives.

While being on the loosing side of either would be bad, at least with the first choice, you would feel like you have a direction for your anger. The second, who you gonna hate? Them?

Not sure I'd want to, literally, spend Eternity in servitude.

At least with the option, it's just the government I'd have to contend with.

A government made up of human beings withe the same failings and weaknesses as I have, susceptible to the same fates that I face.

You're trying to argue logic with bible thumpers.

There is no God, there is no heaven, and the rapture is a fairy tale. When you die, there's no after life- this is it
The world is overpopulated, and there's no sustainable way to feed everyone, so it's time to cull the herd.
That's why the super rich are in on depopulation.
I agreed with you , till you said there's no way to feed everyone long-term. The world can feed us comfortably, I read somewhere a population of 100 billion is the max.
The idea that the world is overpopulated and the population level is unsustainable is part of the 'green agenda'.

Oh, yeah -- we can't have a Geen agenda.

The horrors

a reply to: GENERAL EYES Personally my main CT is that's it's much worse than depopulation.

Think of offerings, cattle and off world transports. The clot shot is either a meat tenderizer or a vaccine that actually works off world.

Bwahahaha!

A hundred billion?
Maybe if you stack them like sardines and feed them nothing but factory produced cockroaches.
I like meat, cheese, bread. It takes dozens of acres to produce the meat and dairy I personally consume every year, and there are many millions more like me.
The world was overpopulated fifty years ago, and it's more overpopulated now.
The upcoming food shortages are going to make it pretty clear that depending on artificial mass produced fertilizers just to feed everyone is a bad long term plan

Nobody will be eating bugs unless they choose to for the simple reason that nobody is going to pay the trillions of dollars that it would require to make the bug farms when there is already perfectly good grazing land already in use.

Africans can't pay, Americans wont pay.

The money that's been invested isn't all that much when you compare it to other areas of agricultural research, and the investment that would be needed to convert even the US to bug eating is staggering.

You need to not only build the factories to grow the bug, but also the infrastructure to feed them, and to process them. Bugs aren't like cows, you can't just get a bunch of guys with knives to cut them up, you need expensive machinery to process them down into protein powder or paste and more expensive machines to process the protein into something edible.

We're talking trillions of dollars.

Who is going to pay for that?

Moreso lots of people keep chickens or pigs. Whose going to make them give that up?
