Remember when everyone was freaking out about December 21st 2012? The astronomical alignment of it? Well, that alignment happens every December 21st!

Rosh Hashanah is usually determined by the new moon of the autumnal equinox, which places that date within that timeframe of this baseless speculation.

The tilt of the earth and moon phase has historical significance in human culture, time keeping and religious practices. We tend to place absurd amounts of meaning on these natural events.

People are also quoting this date because of a German politician mentioning it in a speech made months ago when he misspoke about the day Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24th. Native German speakers even called out his error but otherwise called it a good speech.

Imagine if a German heard a campaigning American politician saying, November 8th will go down in history as yadda yadda yadda. Then that German starts freaking out about what's going to happen on November 8th.

When it comes to the financial aspect of this overhyped doomsday, historically September is THE worst month of the year for the stock market. This has already come to pass with the DOW tanking after the report of inflation data as well as the Ethereum merger. The end of September is also the end of Q3, which is usually the weakest quarter for the market.

It's just the first weekend of fall people, enjoy it.

Some predictions have pointed to Germany being the first of the EU to fall. I predict it is something that will be isolated to Germany but will begin a snowball effect that will bring down many European countries and as a result start a giant stock Market crash.

I believe it will be something revolving around energy and my guess is the German people are going to be in a very tough position.

Interesting, just checked a Jewish calendar and noticed that the Feast of Trumpets starts on September 25 this year. Some evangelical Christians believe the Rapture will occur on the Feast of Trumpets because of the wording Jesus used, "No man knows the day or the hour." is exactly the phrase the contemporary Judaism would have used to describe the start of the Feast of Trumpets. The priests would stand watch, not declaring the start of Rosh Hashanah until they had seen the New Moon. During the celebration no kind of work is performed and the Ten Days of Awe or Ten Days of Repentance begins leading up to the Day of Attonement. Will that happen? We'll definitely know if it doesn't. Having a percentage of humanity vanish at once would certainly be disruptive and the rampant identity theft that would likely follow as people scramble to claim the assets of those missing would almost for sure require a 'mark' of some sort to positively identify those who remained.
