The Precipice.

I stood upon the precipice of the nothing that was before us
all, as you stood next to me. And so the moment came when the will
it took to remain closed in together was more painful than the
chance we took to part, and a new forever came to be.

Across the boundless energy and space that lay before us we
raced, briefly becoming stars, moons and eternal matter that knew no
beginning or could fathom no end. We were, we are, and forever shall
we be.

The light that shone was not to show our way, it was ourselves,
blazing across the face of eternity, forever slipping into the
momentary dream we chased, only to chase the dream it led us too,
and the dream after that.

As stardust from the sky we fell upon this world, in time to be
shaped into the people we are today, the dream we chase of this
moment.

Do not despair if you find the moment of now to be sad, for
it's just a brief second in the magnificence that is your forever,
my forever, as we race on in existence.
