The World is Watching, Waiting

You go to a 2nd hand car dealership, hoping to buy a reliable vehicle that isn't too thirsty and still has as some decent mileage left.

The salesperson already knows all this just by looking at you as this interaction has played out a 1000 times before.

And yet, he shows you a car that is way over your budget and a gas guzzler.

You're not interested. He nods sagely.

He then goes complete opposite of the spectrum and shows you a real lemon with severe maintenance issues, dirt cheap.

Again not what you're looking for, now feeling a bit frustrated. Suddenly, the salesguy seems inspired.

Now the time is right.

He shows you a car that would've grabbed your attention from the start.

Your frustration turns to relief.

He does the paperwork in double time and even throws in a little something extra, just because you got along so well and quite frankly, the world would be a better place if more people were not only willing to generate opportunities of kindness, but that the people that have been hurt before were open to receive them.

You think to yourself what a nice guy that was, as you drive off in your brand new old car.

We've been presented two extremes.

On one side the progressives are fighting a class war on behalf of the elite, by any means necessary. The ideal person used to have a peepee but now sports a hooha and for bonus points dresses up in drag and discusses sexuality with 5 year olds. This will somehow save the environment.

On the other side you have your domestic terrorists. These vehement tax payers dare interfere in the political left's chosen direction for their children. Some of them are white. Their unquenchable desire for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness could very well spell the end of democracy.


Do you want to cut off your peepee?

Of course not.

Do you want to be a 'terrorist`?

No you don't want to be classified as such.

It's individuals behind the themes, I'd say dispel the themes because we're all mostly clueless person's behind the intellectual world's we build.

Most of what I know I was taught and told by others... The rest? They try to make us dispel. I'm definitely not saying run for the mountains, just saying be aware and use the brain you're gifted.

I would say there's a theme behind the individuals as well,spanning many generations.

I don't think we need to be steered.

We need to be allowed to flourish, without outside interference or coercion.

At the moment we are being treated like cattle that are presided over by people who see themselves as our owners.

And we are up for auction.

They aren't going to sell me jack. I don't buy vehicles at the used car lot, I make private deals. Besides, you can't buy a tractor or a heavy duty pick-up at a used car lot. Eventually it may come down to buying a used buggy from the Amish.

Great analogy though, however, I don't fit the mold they want to put me into, so I'm not buying from a used car dealer, esp one with cheesy TV commercials.

Although I mostly get a lift, gym is actually within a 30-Iminute walking distance.

Which reminds me of Covid lock-down last year.

You may exercise (oh how gracious), but only between 6-9 in the morning, within a 5- click radius.

Walk down to the shopping center, and the gym, and stare longingly through the window.

"Sir, please buy a mask".

Although, not a straight walk.

You can look like the Hulk, but it means little if desperate people want to put a long bade between your ribs for a bag.

I took your analogy literally. Because I just was in a situation where I had all of five days to buy a used car after some asshole hit my car and ran off like a little bitch. My car was totalled. Even thought I had a short window to buy a car and I'm a female on my own with my hubby in a nursing home, I'm not freakin stupid. I got a great deal and got myself the best vehicle I could get. Because when the going gets rough, you just roll with it, say # it, and do what you need to do. I'm a tough survivor, and will never let any jerk get the best of me.
