Anti-Gun Democrat has her guns stolen

Karen Bass is a Democratic rep from California. She is anti-gun, as evinced by this tweet from July:

The number one job of the mayor is to keep Angelenos safe.

One of my top priorities will be to get guns off of our streets and out of our communities.

Gun violence has no place in our city.

Bolding mine.

So, over the weekend a couple of guys broke into her house. And guess what Karen reported stolen?

A gun? Nope. They stole 2 guns.

Politicians only want to take your guns...

That is an indication that politicians spew things that they do not actually believe. Hypocrites.

Nothing else was stolen...

My intuition tells me this gun was involved in a crime and this woman is trying to distance herself from the weapon by claiming it was stolen.

That's not what she said, though. She said "guns," not "illegal guns."

I have said a million times, I will say again: The first two symptoms of the illness that is progressivism are:

1. A complete inability to process humor.
2. A total lack of self-awareness.

I doubt this woman has the capacit to laugh at her own stupidity and lack of self-awareness. Two of two.

She needs an intervention.

These are some very stupid burglars. It's like they were just asking to be identified. They parked at a United States House Representative's house (she surely had cameras and an alarm system), somehow got in, "stole" the guns, then drove around in LA for 4 days with the same license plate till the cops just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Bass is currently running for mayor of Los Angeles.

That's interesting...leaving national politics for city mayor.

Maybe she thinks it will help get her out from underneath the corruption microscope.

well, today, there are two more illegal guns in her area. So no matter what she may have meant, she is contributing to the problem by not securing her weapons the right way.

Do you think she pulled a Hunter Biden, and tossed them in a dumpster?

The news articles don't say whether the police recovered the guns or not from these two characters.


If they didn't recover them, and there's no camera footage or other proof beside someone seeing the car parked at the house, they will most likely walk.

It would be interesting to see who Munoz and Espinoza are, where they came from, if they're associated with MS-13, and how they knew about the guns that Bass claims were stored and secured, and why they took only the guns and left other valuables alone.

Funny how THAT worked, how the cops found the resources to pursue this crime and make arrests.

In our neighboring Progressive utopia, mere property crimes don't even merit a police report. Perhaps Bass should have gotten the "What do you want us to do about it?" that the non-elites have to live under!
