As the title tries to convey the reason for the 9 plagues of Egypt and even the death of the Egyptian first born ( let my people go ) is time lined to 1500 BCE which is all tied to the eruption of Santorini where I assume many may know that eruption destroyed the Minoan civilization.

Everything is explained in great detail to include the pillar of fire during the night that was used during the exodus and the actual location of Mount Sinai where the 10 commandments were written.

OK the video should not make the religious mad nor the none religious bored as it just covers the how and the when of the Exodus with Moses leading. The death of the first born is explained rather neatly and we have other historical and even recent cases where people and villages go to sleep and never wake up again along with hundreds of live stock. The water changing to blood red again we have examples which causes the fish to die and many of the other plagues to follow. Very sequential and to me very interesting as a historical lesson. worth a look see IMO. youtu.be...

Thanks for that. It is tough to know just what exactly happened so long ago. These stories have withstood the test of time as valuable lessons worth sharing.

Thank you for posting this. I first saw it when it came out in 05’ or 06’. Thought it was fascinating back then and had tried to find it again years back to rewatch it. When I saw your title I thought ‘could that be the video?’ And eureka it was!

But, but the main premise of the "story" is that the Israelites were in EGYPT to build the pyramids (before the exodus). Where as now, through detailed archaeological investigations, the actual Egyptians built them.?????? Or do we forget that bit because they found a bit of graffiti from an Israelite slave in a mine. Exactly the same as the pharoh who was supposed to be in power at the exodus. The Torah does not give a name to him and to omit a name of the very most important "enemy" of the story does not mean that the "archaeologists" can shoe in any pharaoh that fits their bill.

They are adding 2 and 2 together and coming up with 20.

simcha jacobovici is known to make assumptions on dates, artifacts, stories and manipulate them to fit his narratives.

one, main example is he tries to use the driving out of the Hyksos as the Exodus. first the Hyksos were Canaanites, Not Hebrews.

Second, the Hyksos were not slaves, they came to Egypt wealthy merchants and wound up ruling the country for about 100 years give or take a few. Hebrews were known to be slaves, the only Hebrew that ever came close to being a ruler was a slave to Potiphar, who later ruled everyday life answering only to the Pharaoh. plus according to the old testament the Hebrews were in egypt 400 or was 430 years, most if not all egyptologists say that the Hyksos were only there 200 years all in total before and during their rule.

Third, he takes the dates of both and moves the the Exodus up and lowers the date of driving out Hyksos. according to all other dating methods the Exodus took place before the the Hyksos rule.

Forth, according to egyptologists the Hyksos were driven out by force by Ahmose and his army, where as the bible said the Hebrews left of their own free will after being ordered out by Pharaoh. that raises the question if the Hebrews were actually the ruling Hyksos why leave of their own free will and not speak of a war / battle with the Pharaoh's army in their bible. all through the old testament they speak of wars that they won and lost, why leave out just one with Pharaoh army.

Fifth, jacobovici says there is a mass grave that has nothing but male victims of the 10th plague in it ranging in age from 18 to 25. God said all of the first born of egypt, including animals, not just males. also the mass grave was dated to after Hyksos were driven out. it was also that some were Nubian's who severed in egyptian army, arrow heads were also found in the graves and it was found near a known military camp.

these are just some of the discrepancies that i remember reading about, there is a whole bunch of others that have to do with mistranslations of hieroglyphs and reliefs in tombs and one that even said they came from a Santorini wall painting depicting the Minoans sailing to Egypt to the capitol of the Hyksos. it is known that the Minoans and Eygptians knew one each other,he used this trying to say that Aegeans were part of the Hebrews and that some went to Greece and that there are artifacts there that prove it. from what i remember there is no evidence that were ever any Aegeans slaves or merchants there when the Hebrews were slaves in Egypt.

here is something else that also bolsters that jacobovici uses dates, artifacts, stories and makes sh@@ up to manipulate them to fit his narratives.

in the fake documentary the jesus tomb,he uses the James Ossuary as evidence that the Tomb of Jesus is real. he came up with patina fingerprinting to prove it, never mind that a in a Israeli court it was proven to be a fake and the guy that who owned it was convicted of forgery or in a written statement the lab that he used, provided a written statement that he misrepresented their findings. the director of the lab said that they never said the Ossuary was a match for the ones in the jesus tomb and that more testing needed to be done.

simcha jacobovic is the steven greer of the puesdo archaeology world, hell he doesn't even have a degree in archaeology
he only has a B.A. in philosophy and in political science and a MA in International Relations. unless he's gotten one since the last time i read anything about him.

Josh Gates did a documentary in expedition Unkown of finding the real Moses and it was two episodes long, actually real finding revealed that the tomb was found, and Moses did hold a high position in the Egyptian court, plus the whole Moses exodus and liberation of the people is more myth and lore than anything else base on religious believes.

Storyline Edit In the epic conclusion of his two-part investigation, Josh Gates re-traces Moses' steps from the peak of Mount Sinai deep into the Israeli desert. To separate man from myth, Josh dives the Sea of Galilee and investigates what is said to be Moses' tomb

I watched this video a couple days ago and really enjoyed it. I may not agree with everything, and I do see some reaching in there, but, there is also a lot of information discussed that is likely true. Some very interesting old tablets are shown as well.

I suggest you all watch it in its entirety, rather than browse. Its worth your time. Even if it is not all correct, you will see some things you never knew, and some proof of things that are never discussed, and for good reason.

I think society is always the same in that they try and hide things or adjust the narrative to suit their selves. Just look at the false mainstream narrative we have going on in the world now. The truth is quite often hidden. You have to search for it diligently

Infanticide is a fascinating theme to revisit in today's culture. I'm sure there's all kinds of handwaving rationalization primed and ready for copypasting.

These are different times we do it because we can and it’s easy. They did it because of their belief in what some priest told them, scientism beats religion again!

never heard of them, but reading just the home page sound like a real winner.

so according to him the next pole reversal is in 8802 days, or just about a little over 24 years. damn i might still be alive, that's gonna suck.

i'm not a big fan of hucksters in any field trying to make a buck. it just clouds up everything real researchers do.
i have no problem with alternative theories, so long as they are truly done on available information, that don't go against established facts and reinterpreting them to be what story said huckster wants to tell.

like history the Hyksos, if memory serves correctly they didn't rule all of Egypt, just the northern portion and it took several years, 15 i think it was before Ahmose I finally drove them out, and before the are said the Hyksos disappeared in syria. but for some reason i keep thinking that the Hyksos kept regaining control of some parts and it took several Pharaohs to finally get rid of all them, i could be thinking that due to the fact that the 17th dynasty fought wars with them to.

I remember similarly, perhaps the Hyksos were seasonal raiders that eventually found it expedient to hunt elsewhere.

They were mobile after all.

Diehold foundation is quite a difficult pill to swallow.

The 3 Pyramids on the Giza Plateau were Built LONG Before the People of Kem Inhabited the Land , so How Could Israeli Slaves be Involved in their Construction ? Bug in the Man Made Bible Matrix there ?

the hebrews didn't exist when the pyramids were built.

most scholars say that the if hebrews built anything, say that they built the cities of Pitḥom and Rameses, near Goshen where the hebrews lived.

it even says that in the old testament

Exodus 1:8-14
Exodus 1
New American Standard Bible
8 Now a new king arose over Egypt, who did not know Joseph. 9 And he said to his people, “Behold, the people of the sons of Israel are [f]too many and too mighty for us. 10 Come, let us deal [g]shrewdly with them, otherwise they will multiply, and [h]in the event of war, they will also join those who hate us, and fight against us and depart from the land.” 11 So they appointed taskmasters over them to oppress them with [j]hard labor. And they built for Pharaoh storage cities, Pithom and Raamses. 12 But the more they oppressed them, the more they multiplied and the more they [k]spread out, so that they dreaded the sons of Israel. 13 The Egyptians [l]used violence to compel the sons of Israel to labor; 14 and they made their lives bitter with hard labor in mortar and bricks and at all kinds of labor in the field, all their labors which they violently had them perform as slaves.

For those who watched the video the gold mine where the writing of an individual who asked god to "please do not forget him" was a key moment IMO. Hebrew writing was not like Egyptian way back when. Like I said in the opening OP the way everything was tied together was impressive and plausible to me.... The first born males who slept on a low bed inside instead of on the roof was something else that was a hummmm moment for me.
