I just went to my member center to spend some points on a bakground colour. But when I clicked the [color help] link, I got a "page not found" response. And I lost my points

Does anyone know what I did wrong? Or can you post the codes for the colours?

Thanks

EDIT: spelling

I dont think it works.
Heres a link that does:

www.december.com...

When the window comes up just put the six digit code in there

ex: 2E0854 for indigo

I dont think you should have lost your points unless you hit submit. Hopefully a mod will help ya out.

Thanks so much! And thanks alasa for moving the thread for me!
And you were right, at a second look, I realized it didn't deduct points.

Thanks a bunch!

hmmm. but now I notice that though I chose this

mediumseagreen #426F42

And copy and pasted that into the box, I have a very bright shade of blue. Do you happen to know if there's a way to fix that?

When you entered the code you used the #. This additional character deleted the last number in your code, making it #426f4. That code is exactly what you got...blue. Do it again and enter 426f42 only. Don't use the #.

You did the same thing. You used the # sign in the hex code. The color code for white as it should be entered is FFFFFF

Looks like we typed at the same time king lizard. I got my code from
www.december.com...

I did not type #. Still came out blue and I found the whitest white I could.

I don't know what to say. Five F's = exactly the color in your mini-profile. I checked this in photoshop to make sure. The hex code needs to be six digits for white. Somehow you are losing a digit, if it's not by using the # sign you must be entering five digits rather than six.

White = FFFFFF

EDIT: Good deal....looks like you got it...

Unfortunately not - Every time you want to change the colour, it's going to be another 250 of those hard earned ATS points.

Shadow man, that is a great list of colors. So much easier to see them all on one page.

Thanks for sharing

Do you have to spend pts on everytime you want to change a colour?

I went to that site and spent the 250 on the color, but I'm unsure if it "took" It doesn't show up in "settings" It does show that I spent the 250 points.

Edit: Oops, never mind... it did take

Off to spend more of my hard earned points.
