First up is the short video which demonstrates the effect I'm describing...
You had an opportunity to do some real science here by seeing if you can duplicate this experiment yourself, but apparently you didn't do that.

Why don't you do that? Do what's shown in the video, hold some magnets next to a glass and see if the water starts spinning?

and below that is the sham video which demonstrates a total 'non-event' magnetic vortex device.
That video you call a sham is not a sham, you can duplicate that video yourself, it's a real magnetic stirrer. The video you can't duplicate is a sham or fake because you can't duplicate it. Youtube has plenty of fake videos.

I think the video which doesn't show the magnetic stirrer has had the magnetic stirrer at the bottom edited out of the video, and that both are showing the same effect of a magnetic stirrer.

The second video is the only one that is real, where there's a magnet spinning in the bottom of the glass.
That's right! FlyInTheOintment was calling the fake video real, and the real video a "sham" but he got it backwards, you got it right!

Looked for any large scale & with magnets (no luck on the magnets)
As you said the OP was talking about using magnets to generate the vortex, and while your examples look like a nice clean source of power, as you say they don't use magnets so it's really another subject.

Didn't some Bavarian dude look into reportedly exotic properties of water flow back in the 1940s ?

Cheers

If you're interested in over-unity energy production, you should have a look at the PJK Book. It's a compilation of every free energy concept, complete with experiments, that the author could find and compile. More than 1000 pages in length, hundreds of concepts are presented in this work.

I don't know, did some Bavarian dude do that?
There was an Austrian Forest caretaker active in the 1940s who had some ideas for using water to transport logs in his "Artificial Channel for Transporting Logs" Austrian patent, but he also had some unconventional ideas which have inspired some voodoo vortex claims which seem along these lines:

So it's best to look at a working model (and not fake youtube videos), in preference to the dubious explanation in that mysterious step 2.
That video in the OP would be easy to test yourself, all you need is a glass of water and a couple of magnets.

Look, I get it, I made a mistake - but the overt mockery surely isn't the way to go when attempting to bring people over to the path of Science? I mean, surely the idea is you need people on your side to help the world move forwards in achieving greater & greater widespread technical competence? But your attitude absolutely stinks, anyone being intellectually honest can see what I'm saying.

As for me, I got carried away with the potential for something great happening - and I got it wrong. That doesn't mean you should mock, deride & attempt to humiliate me. Luckily I'm all grown up & it doesn't hurt me in the slightest, you just make yourself look like a bitter nerd who wants to lord it over everyone with less superior intellect/ less of a history of working with Science. Do you see my point?

Your blatant mockery makes you look about as intellectually superior as an infant.

You just come across as a total douche, quite frankly.

But hey, thanks for stopping by & choosing to rain on my parade.

# you buddy, and have a nice day.

Not with that attitude I won't! Are you saying that nobody could save the world with a 100% free and clean energy device using a perpetual motion engine that actually works 100% and can spin a big or small generator easily? It would certainly save the air from most greenhouse gases and by ending the use of all fossil fuels by banning them worldwide forever!

I would do it for 1 billion tax free dollars up front and some time to enjoy it too. I know this sounds like a scam but whatever. I need the motivation and the means to do so. I'd much rather see the end of mankind anyways! Much less work and I just have to sit back, relax and watch it happen on the comfort of my own couch 🛋️ due to runaway global warming and climate change! 🌞🌡️🥵

Also I just don't give a damn anymore because I'm getting old and checking out for good soon probably anyways! Well this is my last post or reply on this subject! I'll see most of you on the other side! 👋😇

I'm saying you don't have any free energy tech.

Full stop, Arb--

I didn't, in any way, suggest that his ideas actually worked.

Ah, was he an Austrian? Okay. I recall his name now. Viktor Schauberger ...
