Discrimination against Straights and Whites

I just want everyones opinions on this. Just because someone is gay they get to have their own parade. Just because someone is black they get to celebrate black pride. All shout discrimination by their opposites.

But if people had a national Straight pride day, or a White Pride day.. People would crap themselves.

I'm crapping myself over this topic... wondering why it's been created.

I'm simply curious to peoples view of the matter. Many apologies if this pushes anyones "buttons"

This was discussed recently in a thread (I can't remember which, sorry). If we continue to grow as people and a society, eventually things will even out.

We're not there yet.

Who cares? There are all female clubs all male clubs, there are even pottery clubs and bingo clubs..If you feel the need to start an all white or all straight club and march your happy butts down 5th Avenue..then go for it!!

I'm siding with colored people or *blacks* here, that they have every right to safely march in a parade or have a club..ALSO, most black related clubs will allow white people to join, whereas white realted clubs, like KKK are full of hatred and violence and REFUSE to go within 3 feet of a colored person or non-white person..

And need us not forget..black people march for a reason..to remember and remind all colors what they had to endure years ago..

TN, the majority ( whitebread ) has been in power and will remain in power no matter what kind of organizations, parades or clubs open up around them.

Its a good thing we have these branched off organizations to diversify the public and give people some liberty to breath in whatever skin they are comfortable in without being " stoned " to death by the ( whitebread ) population.

Yes they protest against being kept from their god given natural right for freedom. without having the hands of the white man in their pockets.

I think we should focus more on the underground mosks opening up all over the US....they pose more of a threat than gay pride parade or black miss america pagents.

Here's another very good point that was brought up in a movie. If I grabs a girls ass and she slaps me, she's defending her civil rights. But if a guy grabs my ass and I punch his lights out, I'm a homophobe. Go figure?

I agree 100% to you! If I made an all white movie Jesse Jackson would shoot me,but an all black movie is okay. I can't have an all white thing,but an all black thing is allowed. I can't kiss a women in public,but too gay men can have sex in public. Go figure.

Here in canada the dumbass liberals, won a case in court so that they don't have to pay vets interest on their pensions, but for government employee's in the 70's who claimed they were victims of "discrimination", get billions.

Think about who deserves these billions more Veterans who sacrificed their lives or a bunch of civil servants who whenever asked to do some real work, bitch about it

go watch a movie. doesn't matter when it was made. chances are, if the cast isn't entirely black, then there's one or two people of color that are on the screen for a few seconds. TV and movies don't reflect the actual diversity of the society watching them. I can dig out my media studies textbooks and look up the exact ratios, but minorities are far less represented in TV and films than there are minorities in real life. (it doesn't just work like this for minorities...think about the ratio of cops and doctors in TV and movies to real live. think it balances out?)

I don't care about any of this (nobody mentioned the Black Entertainment Channel, either). What I do care about is minorities had a lower threshold to get into my lawschool, and then they were assigned a tutor. If I were a minority, that would greatly offend me. It's like telling them, "You won't succeed without help." I would be insulted.

Actually there is an "All white movie" it's called "Lord of the Rings" and it's kicking butt.

In fact, they even removed the blacks that were supposed to be in the movie (the southerons) but for obvious reasons, the only Blacks in all of Lord of the Rings were servants of Sauron.

So they made them white, but put black masks over most their face, all but their eye region.

Hey people! If you get a perfect SAT score, you get 10 points, if black, you get 100000000000000 points. If white and failing, get kicked out. If black and failing state hiers(sp?) a tutor for you. If you have an all white school, every political correct group will sue you until you don't have enough money to buy toilet paper. If open an all black school the government and a ton of political correct groups will give the person millions. If you have an all black channel(wait, BET, #1 supporter of drugs and crime((play most rap/movies that support or show drugs/crime as good))) it ok, try an all white? The company would again be sued.

If you have an all male club, women sue, an all women club, men get sued for trying to get in. All white club gets sued, all asian club considered the best place to be.

It isn't reverse discrimination, it is just plain discrimination. Oh well, I'll use my Russian(Russia is in Asia) to get into the asian club, along with my Indian(they crossed over from Asia to here) to get in.

One question, for the get into college score, if you are part black, part mexican, and part asian, do you get 10000000000000000000000000000000000000 points?

Can South African whites who immigrate to America check off "African-American" on their college applications? Just wondering.

yes, you can, i know a guy from Morrocco that looks completely European but he is officially labeled "African American"

i dont agree that there should be white clubs or straight clubs, in fact, i dont think there should be black clubs or gay clubs (even though i have millions of gay friends and belong to those clubs, i'm working to change them) i believe in complete equality
