In this topic, I offer you some of my photographs of Michurinskiy Avenue (Мичуринский проспект).

Ivan Michurin (Иван Мичурин) - (1855–1935) was a Russian practitioner of selection to produce new types of crop plants, Honorable Member of the Soviet Academy of Sciences, and academician of the Lenin All-Union Academy of Agriculture. Throughout all his life, Michurin worked to create new sorts of fruit plants. He introduced over 300 new varieties. He was awarded the Order of Lenin and Order of the Red Banner of Labour for his achievements.

This is Kosygina (Косыгина) Street.
Alexei Kosygin (Алексей Косыгин) - (1904–1980) was a Soviet statesman during the Cold War. He served as the Premier of the Soviet Union from 1964 to 1980 and was one of the most influential Soviet policymakers in the mid-1960s along with General Secretary Leonid Brezhnev.

Apparently the Russian people take more pride in their cities than do Americans, or they have better trash clean up crews.

The US is home to 5 percent of the world's population but produces 30 percent of the world's garbage.

Perhaps the American trash clean up crews simply do not have time to remove all your garbage.
