Russia Rebuilds free houses in Mariupol

So this is some sort of scam? First you bomb the houses then you get kickbacks from the rebuilding money?

Why rebuild in the middle of a War?

Russia has moved large portions of these towns population to rostov on don, they wont be going back any time soon

really poor propaganda, rebuild 5 houses and claim the city they destroyed is bustling hub of civilization PAHAHAHAHAHAA clowns

Why would buildings need rebuilt?

Considering Russia leveled almost the entire city with artillery and airstrikes, that's very nice of them.

They really don't need to do that. They're going to bus in all of the residents that they evacuated to various parts of Russia and give them free apartments? I've never seen such kindness.

I'm not sure what country you're from, but that's always been the US standard operating procedure. Russia has shown far more restraint in their use of deadly force than the US ever has when we invade other countries.

Well thats why the military operation continues. Ukraines armed forces must be diminished to nothing and a change in leadership is needed so the Ukrainians in the South and the East can live in peace and no longer live in fear of their own government. At least the Nazi minded Azov Battalion has been pushed out of MARIUPOL, hopefully forever.
The locals of Mariupol were very strongly against the Ukrainian government ever since the Coup d'etat of 2014, plenty of video showing the locals protesting the new government and the Ukrainian forces

They are being built for UKRAINIANS. Just because they are ethnic Russian Ukrainians doesnt matter. These are still Ukrainian citizens that lived in Mariupol, just because they had Russian ethnicity somewhere in their family tree doesn't make a difference.

That's exactly like if something was being done for a city in Southern California that had a mostly Hispanic population. These Hispanic people are American citizens and many of them had been in America for several generations and then somebody like you comes along and says "they are just doing this for a bunch of Mexicans, what a joke this is"

Millions hav ebeen displaced from their ancestral homeland because of the invasion.
There are reports of Ukrainians being forcibly removed to other parts of Greater Russia whilst ethnic Russians are being moved in.

All part of the forced Russification process.

I'm guessing most or all are related to the invasion of Ukraine and are pro-Russia/Putin. You post and comment with the ferocity and broken English of someone working in an FSB troll facility. How many rubles do you get every day for this kind of prolific propaganda? They must pay you per post/comment. Because I can't imagine a stooge that longs for the days of Soviet communism would be very productive when there is no financial motive.

You can keep crying and bringing up every bad thing you feel the US and their allies have done in decades past as if it somehow excuses the unprovoked aggression that Putin has displayed with Ukraine. Not to mention the atrocities his bumbling forces have committed (perhaps you have seen the video of Russian soldiers castrating a Ukrainian POW?).

Isn't this what another western government had done for decades to keep the money flowing? Needed constant wars, a boogey man here, a boogey man there. Young men sent to the slaughter for this. I know it may appear as whataboutism but even if they do, one could say they just picked up that scheme.

Lot's of busy hands needed, guess where they will be flown in from and who get's the contracts? It's not a Russian idea to be fair. To blame them now and ignore all the rest is not honest.

Mariupol was home to a large ethnic Russian Ukrainian population, it's common knowledge. Like I mentioned "ethnic Russian" might mean their great grandfather was Russian, it might mean both their parents were Russian, it might mean a great great grandmother was Russian, the point is they are still Ukrainian citizens. Remember just in recent history, for almost a century, Russia and Ukraine lived under one flag, it's something many people tend to forget. It's also doesn't mean everybody in Mariupol will have some Russian ethnicity in their blood, in time Mariupol will be filled with Ukrainians of many ethnic origins. We don't know how many people will be back in Mariupol anytime soon.

Using the term "ethnic Ukrainian" in Ukraine would be the same as calling white people in the US "ethnic American" while calling a Hispanic man "ethnic Mexican" person whose great grandparents were from Mexico.

Mariupol had almost half and half, ethnic russian and ethnic ukrainians, but more of ethnic ukrainians. It is more about how they seem themselves as ukrainians or russians and what your reply states the people who moved in was ethnic russians. No need to twist the reality.
Ethnic Ukrainians are proud of their roots which Russia disrespects as we see the whole war in Ukraine is about Russians disrespect of Ukrainians as a ethnic group. Holodomor was about Russia hating ethnic ukrainians and it continues today with the war what is going on. Ukrainians wanted to have a country of their own and get away from Russian rule as they didn´t see themselves as a russians but are proud of their Kievan roots ( as am i as a direct descendant of Volodymyr Svyatoslavich ) . I totally agree with Ukrainians when being under russian rule is totally subjugated and having less rights than russians do which we see even now when people who moved in were not ethnic ukrainians.

Also, how many ruZZians will they bus in to fill these newly rebuilt houses? I mean they've been doing that all over the areas they've taken in this invasion, and its an MO the ruZZians are well known for, for over a century or more. Remove the original population with either deaths or force relocations, then replace them with your own people who are more than happy for an upgrade and who happily then bolster the 'we want to be ruZZian' voice.

So they level it then rebuild it thats big of them...

Should be interesting to see how this compares with the we must kill them all because they are all nazi's men women and children.
