Tate and his brother have been detained by Romanian authorities for questioning in the human trafficking investigation. Apparently authorities have continued working on the investigation and were just waiting for the Tates to return to the country. They were able to determine that the Tates were both in the country thanks to their social media and raids took place at two of the Tates' properties this morning.

A former policewoman was also detained. She apparently worked for the Tates' webcamming business but also assisted in keeping other girls there against their will.

In what can only be described as karma, a number of Tate's vehicles were also impounded. This comes only 24 hours after Tate got roasted on Twitter by Greta Thurnberg after he tweeted her about his cars' emissions.
