Some of us live overseas and see the imminent collapse of America within sometime in the near future. Much of it has to do with talks of one must be vaccinated to go to America. This has hit hard in the tourist areas. ( wonder why the hotels are now filled with illegals )
Its all been planned slowly as if now the Americans are 1/4 asleep to their surrounding.
The crumbling of most major inner cities, the crime rate even during the day, the mob flash stealing of grocery stores, the banks reporting transactions of your account ( this is happening to Americans overseas, and now the US govt can work the banks to seize your account ).

Venezuela - A Real Time History Lesson

So let’s review the steps that have lead to this situation.

1) The Venezuelan government creates over budget projects that fail and end up causing big problems for the people due to bad planning, mismanagement and corruption.

2) They blame the problems on political opponents and even the citizens. They make it the citizen's problem to deal with through draconian laws and other measures while doing little or nothing to address the real causes of these problems. Such measures include disarming the citizens to prevent the growing public unrest from becoming an armed revolt.

3) When the crap hits the fan, the government of Venezuela increases the propaganda and blames some foreign country (the U.S.A. no less) and continues to deflect from the real source of the blame. All the while they continue to do nothing to fix the problems.

4) When things get really out of hand and the propaganda no longer works, the government brings out more lies, and gives the call to "remain calm" while they confiscate food from the people by force and redistribute it to the government, military and police.

5) With out of control inflation, supply lines broken down, and food riots the daily routine for the common citizens, the Venezuelan government turns to forced labor laws to enslave the able bodied population.

Total collapse, violent revolution, martial law, intervention by foreign powers, or invasion is all that I can see as the end results that can be expected after this point. We would be fools IMO to not believe that could happen the same way here in the U.S.

It was a foreshadowing of what is happening in a number of countries now, I thought it was obvious and was watching other situations in Latin America and even conflicts like Bosnia to get an idea of where we might end up when the SHTF. I was following a Bosnian war survivor named Selco Begovic that lived through a siege of his home city. His story seemed to be similar to conditions I expected at the end of the Venezuela situation.

When I started that thread in August 2016, I was concerned with the U.S. mostly and I hadn't expanded that to include countries like Canada, Australia and European countries. Also, I added some new information and considerations up to Oct. 2021. I suppose I should update what's been going on since last year.

What is really scary if you take Venezuela as an example is to look at the ratio of people working for the government and outside in the private sector.

In Venezuela the ratio was I think 1/3 and in US we are approaching this if not even more if we take into account all the mega corporation that exist solely to feed the ever expanding bureaucracy.

In many respects, yes the US is crumbling.....with no leadership at all, good or bad.

Another way to look at it is that the US is being hollowed out. The cities were abandonned during COVID and many are not recovering, but rather, seeing more people and businesses leaving.

The US has absorbed something like 5 million illegal immigrants/migrants so far this year and will doubtless take on millions more through the rest of the year.

Crumbling? Hollowed out? Borders and Soveriegnty abandonned?

Yep, all of the above but the final realization is......this really isn't the US any of us were born into. It's become a foriegn country to most of us. 10's of thousands flee the cities and some states every month, looking for remote, rural property far from the grasp of the Federal government. Thousands more leave the US altogether.

Ultimately, just like a broken bank, the US government won't survive the next stress test and everyone except Nancy Pelosi and Dozy Biden know that.
