We like buying Amish foods when we can find it. We do buy some organic products, but most is products that are not certified organic. The government has done this to small farmers for over sixty years, they want almost everything going through channels they can control. Controling the food is one of the major ways government controls the people in it. Other ways are to make people believe they need medicines they regulate when in fact dietary changes can negate the need for those medicines. I don't take much of what the government says as the full truth, brainwashing and social control has formed the reality people have lived in for thousands of years.

And this has nothing to do with "religious freedom."

If they're selling/distributing to the general public across state lines they are subject to federal regulations to ensure the public remains safe in their consumption. That's the point of the FDA.
