This is all the proof needed that the attack on farmers , globally, is not about some 'green agenda', but about more power, and most definitely about government land grab attempts

They don't use any harsh methods of growing crops, all natural.

Watch that turn out to be a push from Monsanto.
How dare they not buy their seeds, fertilizer, bread, milk, and clothes from the company store!

I think this is more about food handling practices rather then growing practices. Like the unpasteurized milk. Still a government overreach here. They are not really selling to the public but rather to their co-op members.

This is about Amish religious freedoms isn't it? I know that the Amish don't like to sue. However someone should take up this case and sue the govt for infringing upon his religious freedoms.

Some people caught listeria from his raw milk. That's what brought him to the attention of the government.

I (and many many others)caught hepatitis from Chi Chi's in Beaver Pennsylvania.

Edit: though on one hand I agree if there was an incident, it should be looked into. But this farm needs left alone, and anyone whom purchases products should adhere to Buyer Beware. I'm quite sure Mr. Miller doesn't wish to endanger nor sicken his biggest clients which would be his own family.

From the video:
"is slaughtering meat and poultry at these locations and distributing them to other states without a federal inspection."

They do tend to frown on that.

With laws who knows what will be in food unmarked!

I didn't watch the video, however, I have done business with the local Amish around here, strictly cash deals, no receipts. They are business minded and they like cash it seems.

So, if their business has gotten on the the Fed's radar, they need to do business like the government does. They need to keep things off the books, make backroom deals and launder the money through a third party. They must give up on the idea of an honest, open, fair exchange of goods and currency. That's the tradition they need to give up, not their farming practices.

ETA: Just watched it. It was short. Didn't say much except that they are probably ignoring a bunch of laws to produce products in a way that fills a market niche and are doing well by that apparently.

This is really sad!

I'm in PA, this place is not too far from me actually. Maybe I'll make a trip out of it to support them with some purchases.

At the moment I won't be clear for 2 weeks while I'm getting treatment for my knee. I haven't been to Gettysburg in a few months.👀

Edit: a day trip could be possible. And Halloween is fast approaching.

Not being anywhere near Gettysburg around Halloween. But it's getting spooky out there now. In 2 weeks I can get out that way and swing by Gettysburg on my way back.

Know any other members nearby that might do an impromptu night? Those ghost walks are cheesey. Safe, but cheesey. Gotten better stuff at the high water mark. 🥁 Phantom drums to 👻

Edit: for the cheese of course. My main objective is cheese.
