The music that I’ve been working on lately (my first music thread)

Hello everyone! I have been frequenting ATS for over a decade and have only posted one thread previously. I am a life long musician. I have been in 2 metal bands ( sorry, I no longer have access to the recordings of that after being homeless for 2 years) and owned a recording studio for 15 years. I have an app that I create music with called Korg Gadget2 which is a very well made music creation app! These are a few songs which I have on SoundCloud that I have made in the past few months. I only make a new song when I am inspired! I don’t create what I consider “fluff”! I hope you enjoy what I post! I don’t stick to one style.

That second one, Sunrise to Sunset has a lot of potential as I hear it. My taste though the heavy ''beat'' detracts from the flow of the music being played, ya know? Yeah, rather than getting into the strong thump thump of that beat I would rather have heard some higher riff raff kind of jazzy stuff on the top floating and dancing above that general background you first present. Like jazzy improv kind of stuff.

I"m trying here to not be critical, just, well, suggesting what I would do if I were the composer.

I’m not a good critique but it is fun to listen too , takes me into a robotic machine sci-fi world .I can pack boxes for my house move quite efficiently to your music! I listen to a lot of electronic stuff that my son writes .he’s doing a lot of dub step recently . Sorry about your homelessness . I hope it’s resolved now for you ? Good luck with all you do

Hi, first off it takes a lot of guts to present music online, so well done for that because not many people dare to. Determination is 90% of the journey.

You need to write every day to develop, it does pay off.
Only saying that because your music sounds quite in it's early stages of composition.

Keep at it.. you will get there.
