What heatwave? It's been a cool summer here on the Oregon coast. I think everyone is lying about how hot it is.

been nice here in southern England about time we had a nice summer though living in an area liable to ground water flooding it'll take a couple more of these years for the aquifers in southern England to discharge the excess from the 2015 floods, it takes around a decade to filter through the chalk back to the rivers..

Europe is going through a massive heatwave and large part of the UK are now officially in drought conditions. Walking on the local golf course is like walking on very dry straw. With the exception of the greens, the grass is dry & dead.
Oregon =/= the rest of the world.

How does a global warming activist explain the sea levels falling – “it is due to the heavy rain and flooding in Australia during 2010 and 2011”

Hope you guys enjoy the heatwaves in the Northern hemisphere. Based on our winter in the current Southern hemisphere winter you should be in for a massif cooling
"It is a beautiful illustration of how complicated our climate system is", says John Fasullo, of the US National Centre for Atmospheric Research. "The smallest continent in the world can affect sea level worldwide. Its influence is so strong that it can temporarily overcome the background trend of rising sea levels that we see with climate change."
