Yup.

Even many Jews who loaded onto the trains felt the same, thinking somehow it would all work out.

This is soo funny, the democrats want to defund the police, but wants to arm to the teeth a bunch of goons so they can harass hard working Americans.

Does not that sound kind of weird, is just me.

Those "goons" that Gaetz wants to defund are sworn Law Enforcement Officers every bit as much as local police officers are.

Well, you're the one who made a hypothetical claim. If you can't handle someone questioning that maybe back away from the keyboard for a little while.

Where did you get $80B? The headline alone clearly states a budget of $12.6B. Nowhere within the article does it say $80B either.

For the IRS, the CAA includes $12.6 billion, which is $675 million more than last year. This includes $221 million for the Taxpayer Advocate Service, of which $5.5 million must be used for identity theft and refund fraud casework. An additional $5.4 billion will fund tax enforcement, which includes $21 million to fund investigative technology for the Criminal Investigation Division and $75 million to address the IRS’s paper inventory of amended returns (an additional $5 million is earmarked for this under the operations support budget). Operational support will receive $4.1 billion. The CAA also includes $275 million for business systems modernization.

This is a decrease from 2021 expenditures of $13.7B over the year and even that was only because of the money received from the various spending packages that were passed, by both Republicans and Democrats, due to the alleged pandemic.

And guess what? They're asking for a budget of $14.1 billion (PDF warning) in 2023. Still no where near $80B.

Apologies, i thought I was conversing with someone who actually knew something on the topic in which they were opining.

The expansion of the Gestapo is going as planned,

But once we get the house back, the funding will be stopped, and the new hires will become new unemployed.

Poetic justice.

I hope you're right Marg. Because if we get Republicans in there and they don't hit all this crap right in the knee caps then they are nothing more than worthless POS.

You initially provided a link not saying anything in regards to the $80B. I provide links that are relevant to my claims. That you on your first attempt were unable to do the same is not an issue on my end.

Now, you seem to showing your lack of proficiency in math yet again, with some additional deficiencies in reading comprehension. That $80B is projected over the next ten years and not for "next year too" as you claim.

That's an average of $10B annually. For example, and assuming that is applied evenly each year (which is unlikely), on top of the current IRS budget for 2022 of $12.6B would only be a total of $20.6B. That would be a total of $22.1B for 2023 if the budget proposal is approved.

Still a very far cry from an additional $80B next year, as you claim.

I'll continue to respond to this thread as I see fit, thank you very much. If you have any issues with my content please feel free to report my posts to staff.

It looks like the Internal Reset Service is going to be busy stealing the private property of American’s between now and 2030.

Don’t worry be happy.

The IRS, as well as every State revenue agency, actually encourage you to take advantage of every deduction, and "loophole" you are legally entitled to.

There is a vast difference between tax avoidance, and tax evasion.

"AVOIDANCE" puts money back in your pocket.

"EVASION" can put you behind bars.

More government efficiency at work.

It costs 20 billion in tax payer’s money annually to collect tax payer’s money.

Isn’t socialism a wonderful thing!

Well that's nothing they haven't already been doing since 1862!

In its first year, 1863, during the Civil War, the IRS still managed to claim over $39M in money and assets from citizens. That's equivalent to over $900M in today's dollars. During the Civil War. With a scant amount of population (about 23M in the Northern States) compared to today. Yikes!

Then why would you post something so blatantly and demonstrably incorrect?

So someone like you could diminish my point and nitpick my wording rather than discuss the topic.
Re-worded: The IRS and likely many other federal agencies as well have no business playing cop or being militarized jack-booted thugs. Their function is and should be, accounting. Nothing else.

All part of the great reset. Klaus Schwab approves. Can't pay? We will just take ownership of your private property.

That's some politician level of backpedaling. Why not just post what you mean the first time around? 🤔

Regardless, I would have to say that I do agree, wholeheartedly, that if the IRS were to exist in a perfect world, that would be all they should need to be. However, this is not a perfect world. As pointed out by another user within this thread, there are many reasons why these other agencies have an armed police division.

Just do a flat tax.

10%.

Across the board.

That way taxes will be easy to do, hard to cheat, and we can fire 900 billion Gestapo dick-faces.

Problem?

Solved.

Correct. Future hypothetical profits get taxed before they exist.
